Thanks for the vote of confidence Zorchi dude, but it isn't over until the fat lady sings. I'm thinking Curt has some plans for an offensive somewhere in the back of his mind and he's just waiting for the right opportunity to spring it.

Hey you guys: I've been playing with Windows MovieMaker and have strung together the minimovies from the first 15 turns into a movie that's smaller than 500K bytes so I can post it here. Just change the "gif" extention into "wmv" and it'll play in your Windows Media Player ( at least that's the way it works on my machine ). The quality is poor and you'll have to go to full-screen mode to see any detail(s). But it's a start.

Imagine my surprise when I found a Soviet unit spawning in my backyard. Not a partisan this one.........noooooooooo, it's a Soviet division unit. I guess that's another reason to convert all the possible hexes to your control. That way Soviet divisions won't spawn behind your lines.
