Do not waste time building Carrier III, your lower production base makes it hard to make them and hard to keep aircraft on them. Stick to Carrier II it carries 6 aircraft and will suffice. It is cheaper to build so you can get one in a lot less time then a III.

Question? Is there no stacking penalty in this scenario?

.....NEWS FLASH.....

Imperial Japanese GHQ has announced a major defeat for our naval forces....we have lost all our carriers and the majority of our ships. Victory will now be a bit harder, but our armed forces are willing to fight to the last.

A bit of good news though, we have now produced our first fighter squadron of advanced fighters which can match the Americans plane for plane and then some.

German theater- eastern front

conducted large scale arty strikes, and local counter attacks which saw our forces victorious. Spanish front is still receiving reinforcements as we speak. The Italians are holding and that is about all can be said.

TASS announces:

North of Minsk the enemy managed temporarily to push back our forces and create a bridgehead. Our forces counter attacked and achieved a complete victory.

Considering the spacial hex scale it makes sense to me.

Sticking to the base you established with main armies.

30 rifle or 25 rifle and 5 smg, 3 MG, 2 mortar, 2 infantry guns, AT gun, 20 mm Flak. Transport for either the 3 guns or the whole unit.

Haven't settled on the Armor yet.

Currently running 2 tankette ( or none) 2 light tanks, 2 medium tanks, 2 heavy Tanks, 10 rifle 2 trucks or a halftrack. Forgot major nations also add an SPAA.

Soviets are 3 light and either 3 medium or 3 hvy. Haven't decided on rifle yet.

I guess you need to restrict the offensive power that can be projected from one hex based on the limitation of Frontage and the maximum number of units that can logically and historically attack from that hex. Also I guess concentration and defensive capabilities have to be balanced there is no better target for air power than densely concentrated Infantry Armor and Artillery or Planes lined up on runways, and the more men and material you throw into a attack the more casualties you will sustain and the less effective it can become on the laws of diminishing returns. Ok its a month but offensive activities were not sustained for a month there was a point when ammo fuel and exhaustion would bring a end to a offensive. Unless you allow say no restriction on the number of attacks and the size of attacks, that can take place on a single hex allowing for reserve units to attack without penalty if the first attack should fail. But on the operational scale of this game prepping and planning a large attack would often logistically take a month if not longer to prepare. This being a offensive as opposed to small scale tactical battle at division level.

The game has settled into a form of static attrition. It's tough to say what or if anything dramatic will happen next.
