Looking for a little help in understanding something here. The game is currently about a week into September '42. My A6M3 pilots have been rudely surprised to meet Spitfire VIII pilots. From everything I've read in game these planes aren't due until October '43.

Is this one of the emergency reinforcements caused by the Japanese overrunning India????

As soon as you captured New Delhi you released the "Lions" so to speak the Spitfires are in that package ...

If your opponent has any imagination I might propose that you have over expanded and you might ride high for another
three months or so .. but after that you might find it difficult to find a reasonable defensive line .. building this line will be interesting ..

Many thanks Crackaces. Emergency reinforcement was the only thing I could think up on this one. I knew that I had unleashed the lion so to speak but hadn't figured on dealing with such a fine fighter so soon. Guess Mr Tojo is going to have to hold the line in the air as best he can. Todd is basically penned up for the time being in Karachi with the bulk of his forces and I never seriously expected to break into that bastion. Those spitfires are going to give me a move a long.
