We have had an agreement of 10 turn "peace" in which time my new opponent can move his troops in and out without me interfering.
This "peace" does not however include ongoing operations such Apamama and Mandalay since these operations where in motion before we started.

You can make bombardment attacks, they eat Japanese out of supply before you start final assaults.

Agreed. There is actually 1 Hellcat squadron and 1 Corsairs squadrons covering the base. That should be adequate for now.
I'am moving more engineers and aviation unit there too. These troops should arrive within next few days.

Here are few comments what I have planned for future.
1) Secure Apamama. This means building up fortifications and airfield. When this is done move in more heavy allied 4E bombers and start LBA campaign againts Japanese strongholds.
2) Capture Tarawa and Makin Atoll. This atolls will give more operational freedom in forthcoming operations. (These bases are heavily fortified)
After these objectives are done than I turn my attention either towards Solomons or Marshalls.
As said my CV are enroute towards safe harbours. They will be getting their 10/43 upgrades.
Once this is done there is dilemma what to do with these ships. I would like to find out KB and forced to the decisive battle. I have experienced fighter pilots so it would be bloody but I think I could destroy the Japanese CV force alltogether.
So, either these ships will be sailing towards South or I will start hunting down the KB itself.

Hunting KB might be a tad dangerous for now .. imo cover the next invasion wave .. there will come a time he HAS to engage you. try and make sure it's on your term if at all possible.
how are you implementing the 10 turn ceacefire ? burma seems rather busy for a 'quiet' period while FDR re-organises his fleets and economy .

Good advice. Allthough If he moves KB too near to CV power than he will have an battle in his hands. I have plenty of CV, CVL and CVE's around to sunk his combined fleet.
Lets just say that he better not think about any counter offensives since I will be ready.
My LBA's (Beauforts and such) are well trained (around 80
s in experience). Most of these are occupying Oz so i guess it would be fun if he tried anything there. I doubt it though but who knows.
Ceasefire is going as agreed. This did not include Burma and Mandalay areas. In China he has already positioned his troops to new locations.
Actually there are more troops on their way in Burma. Those tank brigades I received are at Asansol at the moment and their final destination will be Burma soon enough.
