Naval Group & ECA Group Win Belgian-Dutch MCM Vessel Competition
The French consortium Belgium Naval & Robotics (formed by Naval Group & ECA Group) won the Belgian-Dutch MCM Program, the Kern (Belgian Council of Ministers) confirmed today, beating the two other competitors, Damen and Sea Naval Solutions.
...
According to Belgian daily newspaper L’Echo, Naval Group and ECA Group underbid its competitors: The procurement of 12 vessels and associated equipment would ultimately amount to 1.756 billion euros, at the rate of 887 million for Belgium and 966 million for the Netherlands.
Under this 2Bn€ program, the Belgian Naval & Robotics consortium will design and produce 12 new generation Mine countermeasures (MCM) vessels and 10 tool boxes. The Belgian Navy (Marinecomponent / Composante marine) and the Royal Netherlands Navy (Koninklijke Marine) will each get 6 so called mine warfare “motherships”. Belgium was the lead nation for this procurement process.

RAND’s mistake is directly assuming Russia and China are aggressors at the initial stage of war scenario, as they will fire their first shots. To assure US and ally’s victory, it should be performed other way around instead of offering their necks while standing. RAND and other pro analysts are also intent to add pressures on US government to provide more military budgets to counter those hypothetical aggression, which is little they know US is already capable to launch first strikes better than every other countries today.

The most likely scenario in my view is one where neither side is fully prepared for it.
That said it would be interesting if we had a community scenario which is not intended to be played but has the current deployments/ force levels (as accurately as possible)
of all the countries. Kind of like a huge wiki scenario. I know it would not be manageable nor very accurate most of the time but it would be cool.
If you wanted to play two or more countries against each other you load the scenario then just delete all the countries/ units down to the operational area you want.
Then you just have to make the missions.

Guess it's only a matter of time before someone figure they can use the SM3 BlK IIA airframe for the SM6. Over 200nm Anti-air using off board sensor platform and probably further as a ballistic anti-ship missile.

The politically ceded Golan between Syria and Israel is likely inspiring contesting powers to replicate them in Crimea, Kashmir, Taiwan and many other conflicted zones in the future:
