Well here is the flamethrower Culprit.

Turn 18, Found and destroyed the German Battalion HQ
also found a command post and reduced it to dust...apparently the Large Bunker with 21cm guns has been abandoned as a large Germn Crew was found and destroyed
The Obs post with the flamethrower is causing me problems as is some unseen flak guns firing at my men on the hill.

Turn 19 on "The Hill"
Flamethrowing Ops Post bites the dust from a 17 Pder
Trying to kill other bunker I keep receiving fire from unseen flak guns, smoke has been called in but is late arriving.

Captured V hex but something Unseen destroyed my tank in same hex....WTF??
I have spotting set to 70 BTW for more of a challenge.
I cleared the smoke for a better look here.

Still Pressing ahead in the Village, Stubborn GE Kompanie HQ fought bravely but is now retreating.

Turn 21
"The Hill" is finally cleared of last German Fort
The Command Bunker is no more.
Good thing Satchel Charges are becoming scarce

Taking fire from Ammo Dump ahead, British units reply in kind and blow it to bits.

Infantry and Armor Units move on thru "The Village" (mont fluery) and head for last German hexes in the center, in the village of Crepon

Overview of last German Hexes in Northern Sector, Units receive orders to head that way!!
