GKar, sorry to hear that. To add to the predominant topic in this thread

I know too well what it's like to live out of boxes, been there - done that just months ago...
Did your games start already? If that is o.k. with the other players in the grid, so be it. In the end, I'll play whoemever MrQuiet puts me up against (and with...).

GKar, our messages crossed... You already answered my question I see. It took me 30+ minutes to post my message, someone must have stepped on the big Internet cable somewhere...
Sorry, I am sure I am not the first to ask - where can I find help on putting up a screenshot on the AAR, is there a preferred method, and size?

Polonthi you would be involved in 2 games at once.
But do realize that 2 vs 2 is a very very slow game.
Playing 2 games of 2vs2 will probably consume less of your time per week than 1 game of 1on1.

Ok then count me in. 2 games at once is ok.

Hmmm... GKar, I guess you will also be as slow playing our 2v2 game as well. If that is also the case, should we find a replacement for you?
Yes, that's what I meant. Marshall Art can take over for me if he wants, both games are untouched by me.
As per your request GKar I have replaced you with Marshall Art. I hated to do it because he and Polonthi made up a new team but I understand you are a bit out of your ellement right now with the move. If you decide before March 11 you want back in you are more than welcome to rejoin.
Mr Marshall Art could you please PM Avatar47 with you email address as he will be the one sending you files in Game 1.
You will be starting game 2 since you are the German player. Remember to use the Uncommon Valor Scenario. Also set the pbem up for 4 players with the same player playing Rus/China.

1. Once you are in the screen you want the picture from press the print screen button
2. Now open Paint => Start-> Accesories-> Paint
3. Paste: either "ctrl v" or at the tool bar: edit and then paste
4. Save as *.jpg where * is the name for the save file. Remember to change to jpg or otherwise it would be a bmp file, much bigger and you might not be able to upload it due to its size.
5. To post it, tic "Embed picture in post", then "Click here to upload" and select the saved jpg file.
More things can be done to the jpg file (retouching, resizing...), but these are the basic.
Also using a better tool than Paint would give thousand more options

I highly recommend Screenshot Assistant 1.3 however. It's free and with a few macros you can get your pic's saved and sent easily. Just google for it.
Waiting for your PM Marshall

So, how does the game mirroring work?

(Who on the allied side should send me the gamefile, etc?

)

mikemcmann should send you his turn (as a Jap.) to you (as a SU/CH), and in the second game Dahnyul (as a Jap.) should send you his move to you (as German)
edit: wrong WA-SU/CH[:'(]

In Game 02 you are Playing Rus/China, you will recieve emails from Mikemcmann and will send them to BoerWar.
In Game 03 you are Playing Germany, you will start the game and send your German turn to BoerWar who will play Japan. You will be receiveing emails from Dahnyul in that game.
Make sure you start the game using Uncoman Valor scenario and set the game up for 4 players with the same player playing Rus/China
Clear?

MrQuiet,
Are you still looking for players, or are you fully subscribed? I can't quite tell from the thread. I didn't sign up originally due to a rather hectic work schedule, but the skies are clearing a bit now.
If there's still room, please put me down.
Cheers,
Tim

I would like to point out that I have redifined the rule on getting to the East vs West Scenario.
As long as the Axis Powers surrender before the end date (fall46) then the Allies will continue on in the East vs West regardless if the Allies won or lost the Uncommon Valor Scenario.
The point here is to cause as many East vs West games as we can.

First Prize

OK Boys and Girls, I think I have decided on the trophy for first prize.
I have been undecided because I really wanted to find something that would symbolize the Cold War but I have found nothing that I really like.
So instead I think I am going to go with the 'Command Decision' trophy.
I can have up to 3 lines engraved with 50 characters per line.
If you would like to make suggestions on what should be engraved you can post here or pm me if you prefer.
On another note I am glad to see that all of the games are finally under way and most are progressing nicely for 2 vs 2.
Carry On and Happy Hunting

Hi Polonthi/tica
It looks like no other teams will be joining the 2 vs 2 tournament and that means your team will be matched to the first team in the list.
07) Polonthi-----------tica-----------------MrQuiet------------Avatar47------------1939
Polonthi will be starting the game, remember to use Uncomon Valor Scenario and set it up for 4 players.
Good luck to you and your team.

Not bad at all for 2 vs 2.
All games are in either 42 or 43.
Keep up the good pace.

I would like to inform all the tournament players that I will be away on vacation
(my annual Harley Ride down to Bike Week Myrtle Beach SC) Sat May 12 - May 19
I expect to have no access to the interent except via my cell phone to check my emails.
All my pms on this board are fowarded to my email but I do not think I can respond to them that way.
So if any players need to reach me they can email me direct at MrQuiet67 at Yahoo.com and I will be able to reply in a limited mannor.
I will be making a bit of a effort while I am down there to find an internet cafe or something so that I can visit this forum.
Carry On
