I would like to see when starting a new game that one of your soldiers start at level 4/5 instead of all being Rookies. It would seem to make sense that there would be a Sergeant in command of the new group.


not trying to be smart, but most times, the first trooper to get out of the mission unhurt, is now the new Sgt of the group

What about proximity grenades? I used to love setting traps for Sectoids. And where ARE the Sectoids? I miss those little grey guys.
The ability to prime grenades! That was cool. They way I had to move my guys after one them dropped a grenade after getting shot.[:D]
And what about flares? I miss those too!
And names like Uta, and Ludmilla, etc. etc.[:)]


I second that one, I miss those, also the large Demo Charge, that you could set the timer on, then leave it in place and go hide

also, the trick of stacking Nades or Demos (3 Nades in one hex did more damage then just one) also, a new one going off, would trigger old ones laying around

you could also run around and just drop nades in a pattern, and then sneak off, and wait until something entered the middle of the pattern, toss in a new one and it would set off the whole pattern

(that was for when you were weak and unskilled compared to the Aliens)

also, miss the old flying Armor (not sure which game that first showed up in ?)

Yeah, I'll vote for adding Greys, DC's and Prox Nades, all great stuff with lots of uses...
 
But the whole damaged Alien ship thing should be put in, made it much better all the way around.  Also if you damage/destroy the goodie's inside the ship they should not be available after the mission!
