Two months into Russia now mid July 41. Russia is a blood bath on both sides. El Aleimein just fell after fierce battles in the south. Still think Italians need to tone down so it forces a couple Germans to lend aid. Also British still needs something. Is it possible to upgrade there tank unit in Africa?
Greece is still holding. It needs to be downgraded some in both this scenario and the regular game.
After France had a great air campaign over Britian. It really felt like the Battle for Britian.
Axis subs are having a great time in the Atlantic. But convoys are still getting through all the time. Attempting to kill some of the British Navy to make getting to the convoys easier. Not sure if there should be so many subs I have 8 but it is fun.

I've tried this mod and I really like it. Especially all the extra units and cities. And the Med is much tougher to just plow through for the Italians now. In fact, I'm probably going to stop with control of the canal because I'm not sure the cost of driving all the way through Iran to the oil is worth it now.
Couple things I've notice:
1) The combination of shorter turn length and extra rail combine to make re-deployment almost too fast. Because of this, I was able to get my units from Poland to western Germany by a much earlier date than normal and I had France 2-3 months earlier than before.
2) Although the extra cities do make it harder to advance, they are a double edged sword. This is because, once taken, they become supply points for your troops and rail destinations allowing you to quickly bring up reserves to places that you couldn't without the cities.
I think the bottom line is that this is a much more interesting version of the game but the reality is that a human is always going to be more capable of leveraging the extra cities, rail, ports, etc than the AI.

Thanks for the feedback.
What difficulty level did you play on? I played today on the most difficult level and it took me much longer to conquer france!!!!

I liked it but it still needs a little tweaking. At least the south has some AI action set up your way.
Thanks I have all the files but I just cant copy over the executible to start the game up. I was trying to make a desktop icon so I wouldnt have to go into my files eachtime but that didnt work and when I tried to bring it back it say I have wrong serial number.
When I try bring the other game copy over same problem.
I am really unsure why they do it this way. In all the other games when you make modules you just add them to your scenario file you dont need to have 45 copies of the game in order to do each mod.

I was playing at normal because I wanted to do an apples to apples test.
Its definitely more fun this way, I also like the lower number of labs. You really need to pick and choose what you want to research this way.
I think most of the issues are ai related not your mod. It just doesn't play aggressively enough and it doesn't exploit weaknesses. I really only garrison coastal cities for grins because I know the AI won't make me pay if I leave them wide open.
BTW, anyway to rename the port in Cyprus to Lemesol? (My dad's from there, its the largest port city on the southern side of the island so I thought it would make sense)

files sent rjh.
Gordianknot, the harder levels are a lot more of a challenge, although the ai is like you say a bit weak at attacking undefended areas.

I am looking for a PBEM for this module. All options you can choose sides. If you choose Axis send turn to start.

We're playing this Mod PBEM now, and it's going rather well. Poland fell after 3 turns, which I think is reasonable. Then I (German) took out Netherlands and Belgium in 2 turns each. In both cases the capitals remained with only 1 strenght in them each time, so it was sheer luck for the Allies that they didn't go in the first attack. So there's not much to say about that either. Works good I think. France was a bit harder than in the standard game, much because the higher density of units, I take it. But that does in a way balance the fact that there's no weather delaying the Axis attacking Benelux early.
We're in late July, with Paris now surrounded. It will fall next turn, I hope. [:)]
So far I have been much impressed by this mode, and I think it will shine even more once Barbarossa starts ...

No I am not playing Uxbridge.
I am finding with the increase of units in Africa there is some action there but since it lacks an AI to move new units to Africa the Italians always win without any real effort.
Suggest removing the rear 3 infantry corps from Libya. That will probably keep the action while not being a runaway for the Italians.
