Stock games are boring, allied heavy's come in at 6000 feet and blast everything in their sight. IRL flak would have killed them comming in that low.....

NIK mod RULES!!!

yea but it can be a potential second airbase for you in the area, since we have the ac rule where you can only put so many ac on any airfield

flak was insufficient in all the raids you were refering to..."what about the b-29's?" give me a break lol...by that time japan's capacity for resisting the americans in the air was all but diminished...the only time the allies really flew that low was near the end of each conflict, because thats when they could get away with it, any time they flew that low in the early stages of the war they were slaughtered...and as for the doolittle raid...are you kidding again? would you have expected 16 medium bombers land based bombers to start bombing japan that early in the war?...and they got pretty lucky anyways, it was to much of a surprise to be threatened by flak, but they got lucky in getting away from japanese fighters, but again, surprise was on their side

if you were to pull off 6000 foot bombing like this in real life on a major base, yes your bombers would take much more slaughter than they have at that altitude, its not even argueable, lol you just know how unrealistic this all is but cant admit it...really, if you were to bomb rabaul in 1942, filling the sky that concentrated with huge lumbering bombers at 6000 feet and little or no escort, i guarantee you at least 50% of those bombers would be downed or have to turn back before they could even fully go through with the mission

i dont care, im having fun and still wanna play but im just saying...
