Sorry to come in late, but a single 8800 GTS
and that monitor running games like Crysis would be the minimum, unless of course you don't need the eye candy on max settings.
Don't skimp on a power supply either, very important. Look for these brands

Fortunately, Crysis seems to be in a league by itself in terms of brining computers to a crawl.  I've got an 8800GT and it is humming along pretty damn well on full, but I'm "only" 1680x1050 (I know, that's soooo 2006 of me).

The 8800GT has a bit more power than most GTS models, but I understand they just revved the GTS so the new versions are actually faster than the GT.  Not $100 faster though ;-D

and i plan to get at least 1 of teh 9000s wen dey cum out [:D]

az for crysis its not meant to b run full blast now, but down teh road

but the thing is evryu1 keeps TRYING to run it full blast, spending more $$$ [;)]

I think I can come close, but I doubt I'll buy it.

For reference:

E6850 dual core @3.0 GHz
2 GB Corsair Dominator @ 800 MHz
NVidia 8800 GTX
160 GB WD Rapture 10,000 RPM
Sb X-Fi Xtreme gamer

Processes WitP turns very fast [:D] But I wish I could have spent another $3,500.00USD. { my boss was cheap [:(][8D] }

[:D] knowing Dell, like most corporate entities , it's no doubt pulled it off the market to "build anticipation" of it's next product. In other words , the usual idocy that they teach in buisiness schools these days....
