Allies Fall 42
Not much Allied action this turn other than sub hunting. Damaged 1 U-boat but got hit in return. I have lots of LF's in the Atlantic now so it's going to start getting hard for Germany to score kills.
Portugal reinforced with what I could spare. Russia reinforces Grozny and the far east. Japan has opened a can of worms it can't handle IMO.

Axis powers - Win'43: Our Spanish allies try to push the infidels hanging out in Portugal back into the sea, but the operation turns into a dismal failure. Rommel is called in to look into the situation. in Russia our forces occupy winter quarters. I must have burned all my diplomatic luck on Spain because the Fins ignored the 3rd 50% shot at joining up. Japan continues to muddle along. The Solomon Islands are occupied and our new Siberian holdings are reinforced.

Russia takes advantage of the cold and hits Caucasus hard. Many German losses. In the Far East Russia begins to push back. Won't be long before the Japs regret opening this front.
Portugal gets many reinforcements this turn. The result will be more Germans drawn from the Eastern Front.
The US continues to ignore the Pacific for the most part because there doesn't appear to be much need to focus there. The Allies already have a foot hold in Europe and the Russians are in good shape so they can handle two fronts.

Axis powers - Spr '43: Not much going on beyond a bombing run over England. Japan continues to expand slowly. I think its safe to say we've gone to the defensive.

Allies Sp43
I sure got the short end of the stick in the air battle over Britain. 12 vs 12 fighters even tech match FYI. With so many German fighters ready to do the same again this turn I was left with no choice but to pull fighters from Hawaii. In addition that means that my CV fleet had to evacuate the islands because Jap has CAP potential and I no longer due. That's ok because America does not need to make the Pacific a priority right now. The Russians will take care of Japan.
The Germans keep trying to hold Caucasus and the Russians make them pay each turn. See battle result.
Portugal is well defended now(details in pic) and the Russians are almost ready to steam forward. In two directions that is.

Japan is now beginning to feel the pressure. China, India, and Russian all pressing forward.

Axis Powers - Sum '43: Luck appears to work both ways. An attack on Portugal yields higher than predicted losses while a single WA LS damages a bomber and sinks an experienced LS. The only positive news all those WA damaged units are dead for lack of a way to get back to the factory. Not much else going on. Russian language lessons are becoming popular in Eastern Europe and the Far East.

Allies Su43
Sub hunting is getting hard again now that Germany is EV4, torp4. I'm losing an occasional LF due to their hard hitting torpedoes.
It's the price I pay for switching over to land force production much earlier than normal. Totally intentional however since I gained a foothold in Portugal. This turn the Allies begin to take back air superiority again. I attack with 9 fighters and 9 bombers to Germany's 7-8 fighters and 3 tac air. Will Germany continue to expend manpower on his fighters?
Russia takes back Leningrad with 3 inf and 3 tanks. I also hit Caucasus hard again causing much damage to the German forces.

India pushes forward and Russia continues to dump forces into the Far East to force Japan to respond the same.

Axis Powers - Fall '43: The Fuhrer decides its time to fall back into Turkey. This Russian threat must be dealt with harshly. Not much happening beyond a series of sub attacks. Goring is shot and it is determined that airpower is overrated. Production shifts to tanks. Japan continues to shore up its leaky borders. A guerilla raid is staged in Burma to destroy British supplies.

Allies Fall43
Russia reclaims the Caucasus after Germany retreats. Persia is double teamed by Russia and WA so no further free resources will go to Germany. Russia takes Finland too for same reasons.
The WA attack will everything they got and claim Spain. 14 GE to 4 WA damage points. The combat odds calculator was right on.

Axis Powers - Winter '44: Germany stages its last offensive of the war against Kiev and is thrown back. Japan continues with it's policy of doing nothing and carrying a small stick.

Allies WI44
Russia pulls back to regroup after that strong attack in Kiev.
The Allies see an opening to strike the Italian fleet by clearing the way through Spanish Morocco. Once that was accomplished Italy fell without a fight because there were no defenses in Italy. I guess BoerWar did not see it was possible for me to clear Spanish Morocco this turn.
Sorry about my turn around time lately. To be honest, I haven't felt like playing lately.

Axis Powers - Spring '44: Sorry, new job had me busy this week. I'm still stumped about how range 3 aircraft got to Spanish Morroco from London. I figured my fighter and bomber could handle any CV forces or long range bombers in the area. If they were somewhere else then it was just good old opsec. This turn was spent building and setting up new coastal defenses for both Germany and Japan.

I just checked it: Spain is connected to Spanish Morocco in GG, probably a bug.

Its because the 0mp narrows rule.
Only cost 1mp to fly from London to Paris, one more to spain and one more to morroco (another narrows)

Yes, but the narrows is between Gibraltar and Spanish Morocco, not Spain, right?

You guys might be right, but I remember doing a test a long time ago and Spain op-fired on Gib narrows just like it was its own narrows.
All air and art fired on any enemy passing ships.
Not sure if that is intended.
