One of my hobbies is making Microsoft Windows versions of old boardgames.
I have attempted versions of the following amazingly none of which are mentioned above!

jonathan, you're implementation of Hitler's War is great and I've enjoyed solo'ing it. I know that adding an AI is on the "to do" list and also that coding an AI is the most difficult part of the project, but is that still in the works and if so, has that work begun?

I downloaded Hitler's war and it is no where to be founf. Could this be a vista issue?

It works fine on Vista.
To double check, I just downloaded the zip to my vista laptop and it extracted and ran ok.

I did some work on the AI ages ago but never got very far.
I started with trying to design a Russian AI player for the Barbarossa scenario.
This involved mainly just garrisoning the capitials and other production points as far as possible and trying to counterattack with any left over strength points.

There is network support which allows playing over the internet though.
I wonder if anyone has tried that.

I wouldn't mind seeing a computer gamer version of Arkham Horror, although it is not a wargame. In fact, I think it would make a pretty awesome PC conversion, as the players play against the board rather than themselves and the game is set up by getting event card then going to a location. It would work pretty well, I would think.

Thinking about Lovecraft...how about a PC version of the Cthulhu RPG using the Neverwinter Nights engine (can't remember the name) or similar. Nice.

I would like to see Enemy at the Gates (the Stalingrad one)done in computer form. That and ASL of course. Advanced Third Reich would be welcomed also.

i just nabbed a copy of SimCan's Seapower and the State made in '82 - havn't played it yet but i'm drooling to check it out when my brother comes and visits. except for red sky at morning (which was a total dud - i spent over 100 hours trying to play it desperately trying to find something to like) i'm pretty positive no turn based Soviet-NATO naval wargame has made it to computer since the '80s. and AH 5th fleet doesn't count - the indian ocean is not a proper battleground in my books. i want to advance on the kola peninsula to take out backfire/badger bases, or attack NATO resupply convoys in the atlantic and take out norway!

East Front, Columbia Block Game. Yes, I know there is a computer version of that, but with no AI.
