Harry,

A while back I posted this:
A short time ago folks were looking for software that would resize images, and the excellent Paint.Net was recommended.

I also just found an alternative that easily resizes and converts images among more than 100 different formats, and does it from a command line such as:

quote:

convert rose.jpg rose.png

or

quote:

convert rose.jpg -resize 50% rose.png

Very easy, and also a free open source program. Here is the link:

http://www.imagemagick.org/script/comma ... -tools.php

Note the example I highlighted in bold. Many other functions are available.

Also, you can re-size with Paint.net, which I think you are familiar with. If not, find it at http://www.getpaint.net/

I used GraphicConverter, a Mac program that I provide testing services for.

I smothered it early, and I haven't seen any activity there since.

The Allies have opted for a policy of air dispersion. Also in this mod AA hurts

As the allies, I find it ridiculous the way it is in stock..While Japan probably could have sent some more fuel to start with (to allow 3-5 days of prowling around PH) the idea that they could comfortably hang out 1 month is a joke.

I do not mind the IJN getting a longer leash than they had once action begins (ie, they do not need LBA cover)...But a 1 month opening seige of PH is just a twisted fantasy

It looks like my maskerovka worked with you--I'm sure blitzk wasn't taken in. The air search east of Hawaii was submarine-based. Although the KB reacted to the American carriers, it wasn't hanging out in that area. It was operating south of Davao for a while and has returned to stealth mode.

I am not commenting on any particular game. Certainly not this one as I have not read every post.

It just seems there are some Japanese fan boys who seem to think that the IJN had warp speed/infinite fuel capability at the beginning of the war..

I have no problem with people deciding to play with that with the implicit knowledge it was impossible..

We've got a house rule--if it's impossible in reality, don't do it.
