Rubberbands of various colours (matching with colors that would be on the order contextual menu) will not only be a CM plagiarism, but also gives much more info when using the "U" command, so I support this idea [:)]

In a platoon level game how often do you give individual squads orders? Or do you mostly give the HQ's the orders and make small adjustment orders from there.
With a well designed platoon level interface, I agree that you could do most of the orders from the platoon level.
But as I said before, if a game is modeled at the squad level, and not the platoon level, there will definitely be instances where I want to give orders to individual squads.
I do appreciate the effort by PZCK to make it quicker and easier to command units in the game but, in my opinion, it is a mistake to remove options that could realistically be exercised at the level the game is modeled at.
