How could anyone have a policy of not releasing a patch on Friday?
Doesnt that give most people all weekend to test/play it.

We got the final version from the team this evening. We need to make one more tweak to the game menu, then put together a final candidate for one last review. I expect it will be a couple of days yet, but very, very likely to be released as official this week.

I believe the reasoning provided was support staffing challenges over weekends. I'm not certain whether or not this policy is still in effect.

Still working on final testing and installer validation. May be as late as early next week at this point since we don't release on Fridays, but it's essentially done.

Well, I just bought the game today, and the original version patched to patch 2 caused my old ATI Radeon 9800XT AGP graphics card temperature to rise 11 degrees in the first minute. The new patch 5b-beta fixed that, and the temperature remains at about 48 degrees C, which is normal.

We are still working on a glitch in the updated game menu that came up during installer validation. We have several staff that are working on multiple deadlines right now and are a bit over-committed. We are still hoping to release this week.

Sorry guys, we are simply not going to make it this week. The COG: EE release took too many resources. We are aiming for a Monday or Tuesday release for this update and it will be our top priority early next week.
