Any way I can watch and follow follow what you guys do? Total newbie that want to 'learn the ropes'.... Just got MaxFB, old-time fpsfbpro and madden player....

Most certainly man, yes you can

at some point ther'll be webspace for the league (we only just got started so bare with us)
where you'll be able to see all you need from week to week
and there may well be threads and posts to follow and stay upto date in here too.

Welcome coachtrox, absolutely follow along. Not much to an online league. MaxFB only works for simming, no Head2head like FBpro, so you basically can be a GM and manage players, or go all in and be coach an set up a playbook to face other coaches. I allow the games to play out in full, so it's a fair fight.

So how do the online games work? I appreciate the opportunity to watch you in action...

There is no online play as such

it all comes down to one guy playing everything out
under the instructions of each teams GM

Basically we email everything in
Depth chart, playbooks, FA pick ups, player releases etc.
the league commissioner follows the instructions for each team as he recieves them
then plays out the games cpu v cpu each week

posts up the results and game logs etc

and so on

Quick questions: when I unzip Hack's playbook, the plans are associated to a phonebook application and even have a phone icon. Simmer's NCAA league won't load the plans. ??? Do you know where Simmer's unzipped files are supposed to go in the main directory for the uniforms so the Ncaa league reconizes and uses them? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

playbooks and uniforms are 2 seperate things bro
each with their own location within the game

look for a folder something like "Teams_NCAA"
inside that will be all the seperate teams folders
each teams uniform files go inside their relative folder.

so thats that covered

are you also having an issue with playbooks ? in Simmer's NCAA
if you are, its likely to be caused by simmer having set college with a playbook you dont have
you can either download the relative playbooks or change each teams selected playbook to ones you do have.
