Im not very experienced in multiplayer, but without a ton of luck involved I dont see how France would survive facing a competent Austria and Prussia in the 1792 scenario.
But he will not,
I'm playing A/H [:D]

1796 it is...moving on to Length/GP discussion.
12 years/2000 GP is on the table. More? Less?
Hi 1796 sounds great. I'd vote set it up to go until 1815 and not sure how many GP. I'd hate to have the game arbitrarily end in 1808 with a big war raging.

Havent heard from him in a week. He only posted one time he was interested in playing then disappeared. I think we should bump somebody into Prussian slot from one of the lesser powers and then leave that country (turks probably) AI controlled.
Either that or find another person we know will be active.

If you need to bump me from Ottomans to Prussia, thats fine, unless the Swedish player wants Prussia and I can play Sweden. Really not fussed.

So let's get started. Here's the lineup:
Mus (British)
IronWarrior (France)
KingMaker (Sweden)
lenin(Prussia)
terje439 (Austria)
jjdenver (Russia)
AndrewKurtz (Spain)
COMPUTER (Turkey)
1796, 19 years.
Just looked at the PBEM process. France needs to start the game and then will send the files to all other players. I'll be the last player, so once IronWarrior send you the files, make your turn and send them to me. I will then combine them and process.

I haven't tried advanced economy before and I think that's what we are play so before I do my pbem turn I want to play a turn of adv economy vs the AI to get a feel for it while I read the manual. So pls don't expect this first turn until probably late tonite from me at best. I don't want to set my economy off on the wrong foot as I have no real idea how to manage advanced economy. It looks fun but daunting.

Yeah I thought we were doing advanced econ as well, but whatever.

Really? because I'd rather do advanced econ. [:)]
Shall I remake it?

Maybe not, I went back and reread and I think its only you and me that wanted advanced economy.
[:D]
I really think the simple economy is a little too simple for PBEM, where managing your economy and your grand strategy is the whole cake, but whatever, as long as this game moves at a decent pace it should be fine.

I'm ok w/ adv economy but I need a day or 2 of practice to figure out how to manage it before I could submit turn 1 w/ adv econ.
Also does anyone know - all of the military research upgrades you can buy w/ experience on the national level and the unit level - do they have any effect on the quick battle resolution that occurs during PBEM? For example if I buy ordre mixtre (spelling?) - does it affect combat resolution for PBEM?
