Holey Moley what an exciting game! I can't wait to see how all of this turns out. Taking on Turkey and Egypt and USSR in 1940 is just fabulous. Turkey appeared to be quite a walkover - easier than I'd expected. I guess just because Britain didn't react? Could they have railed Brit units to Ankara?

19410201 : Things in Egypt took a great turn. In the USSR we press ahead.
(JJ - Turkey does not become an Allied nation, somewhat like Yugoslavia. Thus no strat moves to Ankara. I was quite strong in Turkey, as can be seen in Egypt and the British would not have held me back.)

What are the ramifications of a Barbarossa in 1940?
Does winter hit the Germans in 40-41 winter season?
Does Soviet production go up when war is declared on them?
I guess no lend lease from US but Britain and ship PP's?
Anything else?

Dear JJ,
No winter till 1941-42.
Yes, if at war Soviets get their boost.
Lend lease starts for GB and USSR if both are at war in May 1941, I believe.
Both sides are weaker, and allies may not be active.

I think to team up with Sweden is a very good move for the Axis that I so far totally misjudged and underestimated until my opponent showed me how nasty it is if the US gets it eventually. And the nice sized Swedish navy is the icing on the cake.
