You came very close to knocking me out - I was definitely relieved when Steve Smith caught that TD! We went 1-1 on the year, doesn't get more even than that.

The finals are set!

In the Pro league, Erik and his Dominant 1 seed Green Giants play 2 seed Hessian Cavalry. The giants recent run was keyed by the resurgence of Alex Smith, the indominable Maurece Jones Drew and High flying Robert Meachem on Offense and Jonathon Vilma and Barrett Ruud on D. The Cav brings the dynamic duo of Frank Gore and Johnthin Stewert, the Deep threat of Aaron Rodgers and Andre Johnson on Offense, but will be without Keith Bullock, leaving him Derrelle Revis, David Hawthorn, and Charles Woodson.

Int he Basic League it is 1 Seed USS America Stepdads featuring Peyton Manning, DeSean Jacson and Jamal Charles vs 3 seed Bay Area Nightmares, led by Tony Romo, Brandon Marshall and Andre Johnson.

And in the Hall of Fame legue, I make up for my end of season slump dragging my Pack o' Pain from 1 to 3 seed with a smashing of my upstart daughter to face 4 seed Northern Horde. Aaron Rodgers and Josua Cribbs have anchored my lineup the last 4 games, while NH features the Manning Bros and Andre Johnson.

Alot of commonality menas that there will be a lot of hope placed on players who may not have a lot to play for to come up big!

Well two of this years leagues are decided as Erik's Green Giants have 626-601 lead and one player in tonights game to reign as the Matrix Pro Champs.

My Pack o' Pain survived narrowly 171-167 against Northern Horde in the Hall of Fame League. I'm hoping to get all the manageers (and more) back next year to make this a keeper league.

So a free game is still on the line in the Classic League where Bay Area Nightmares needs a TD tonight from Adrian Peterson to make up the 8 point deficit to USS America Stepdads, who left McNabs 24 points on the bench to go with Peyton Manning's partial game 7.

So...close! Curse you, Manning Brothers and Marques Colston! [:D]

Another great year. And I'm definitely interested in a keeper league. [:)]

Peterson just scored a few minutes ago to do me in, unless he manages to fumble a couple of times in the 4th quarter.  Great fun, once again this year.  Thanks for organizing things, Paul.  The USS America Orioles will be reporting to spring training in about 7 weeks.  [;)]

Thanks everyone, it was a fun and challenging season. I feel I got lucky more than anything, but it's still nice to take home the trophy. Thanks as always to Paul for setting up and running the league. See you all next year!

I to have been having problems with yahoo this year. I have all but given up on Fantasy Baseball because my changes never "stick" - if I can get on at all. Tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox. not sure what the deal is.

I am investigating the choices this year. Fox has some good featuers, like specifiying points for each postion, so say WR and RBs can get seperate points for recs and rushes.

Hi Paul,

First, thanks for managing the leagues for us. It's a lot of fun, and I'm really looking forward to September.

Second, I have a request. When you put the position's format together, would you please consider having TE as a dedicated player category, rather than just another receiver type ?

Tight-End is a critical position in the NFL, but there are very, very few Dallas Clark-types available. Because of that, as a group, they really didn't seem to play the role in our league that they did in the real thing.

Thanks!

Well, when there are too few players at a position to go around, its NOT a good idea to make that a specific position that everyone must have. Far too many teams have TE's that never touch the ball. So a handful of fantasy teams will have a player that will score points for them, but most fantasy teams will just have a spot on their roster that doesnt make points, meaning the people that draft early will have even MORE of an advantage.

I do see more teams throwing to the tight end, though. Almost every team should be able to land a guy who can put up okay numbers, at least.
