If you manage to cut him of and then force him to retreat, those units will probably be destroyed and as sval said, you might have the strength to do that. Killing off some pretty decent troops in China isn't a chance you'll get often, so go for it.

This force is moving up the Hankow to Ichang road toward Ichang, and just cleared this corps I had on the road. My guess is that this force will carry on to Ichang, which will work for me as I exspected another Jap division.

These guys are the B-17s that survived the Philippines, they will be based permanently in China. Main reason for this is if Ramjet thinks about strategic bomb, I have a bombing unit that can really hurt him too.

What are you doing with your surface forces in the DEI? Could you show us a shot of the map? Thanks

Sorry folks… Ramjet and I have decided to restart with the unhistorical first-turn, because of the shipyard changes etc. Also both of us made some early mistakes with the new systems, and we would not want to restart when we got six-months in.

I must say though that this game has a very realistic feel to it now, and the Japanese player cannot be guaranteed air-superiority anymore. Will attempt to start another AAR, but time will be a factor as I have another single PBEM to restart from WitP, plus a new 2x2 PBEM.

Thank you for the support and comments, sometimes when I’m tired after a long turn it takes some commitment to do the AAR, but knowing that people are reading it makes it worthwhile. I also wish all you guys good luck in your new games, and remember the new secret to the game is search arcs.
