pete and I ran another battle, started it friday night and finished it last night (just before he closed up... he's moving). We got our CC titans set fairly well, he had a GM loaded up on a hill and started bombarding the enemy rather ineffectually. Things seemed to be going pretty good; the AI finally crossed a river we were trying to get them to cross, and we rapidly ... removed one of them. the second one got hammered heavily, finally loseing a leg and the CT. At that point I should have just backed out and left it; both my titans were having heat and armor difficulties. But I just couldn't resist, and sent one final TB shot at the downed titan. Unfortunately for us, it made him explode. All of our CC titans were in the same hex as it.
The blast (fortunately) didn't remove anything from our titans; however it did turn our armor into mush and badly harm one of my jocks, as well as send the heat of both of my titans skyrocketing well over 200 degs. ammo explosions kept it up for quite a while; the whole time the remaining AIs were bashing me. Pete decided it was time to retreat (i told him to, actually), and when i managed to get one of my jocks out (and the other one bad enough) the AI chased him, giveing me time enough to cool down and eject.
I lost 2 titans, he lost none, but we lost another battle... ****** Oh well. Now my team has one titan and 2 jocks. Well, I hope I win the next fight and get some cash...
I ran both teams and all the jocks through my formulas (as well as update them; they were pretty unbalanced), and have teh results attached as a .doc file.
Pete, I would suggest you improve some other skills with your jocks, if only for teh sake of points... Might come in useful...

I'm restricted; as my leader was wiped out in the first battle, all of Madam Axe's "other" skills have to go towards her leadership.
.. and the other is just trying as hard as possible to get good with Guided Missiles. I could just afford to upgrade one titan to Light, so the CC's improved, as it's most likely to receive damage.

are me and pete the only ones interested in this at all?
i'm about to get out for teh summer, and then i'll be open much more for games.
