If you dont' find your work fantastic, ok, but let me find it so !
For now i don't own WitP:AE but can you explain a bit your future mod, how will it marry with the game, some sort of early scenario ? (If i remember clearly WiTP can't began before 1/12/41, what about WitP:AE ?
In any case, if you need a translation of french, just ask, no pb.

It'll start on December 7 as normal, but Indochina will be fully French. While Metropolitan France was occupied by Germany in 1940, there was no armistice and no Vichy, and France continues to fight from her colonies in Africa, the Americas and Asia.

That may be fun as there is a lot litlle toys to play with.... What part of the "Royale" will be directed to Indochine ? I suppose most will stay in mediteranee to maybe fight the italians or will join UK or even US ports.
The Bearn will probably not make any apperance ? [&o]

I haven't decided 100% yet. The way I see it, the French fleet will have obligations in both the Med and the Atlantic. There'll be plenty for them to do in either theatre, so Indochina will at least initially get short-changed.
However, the French naval force in Indochina (Commandement Navale d'Indochine, if I didn't mangle that too badly) will initially consist of a few heavy cruisers (including the Duquesne), accompanied by a couple of light cruisers (the Duguay Trouin class is already in the game), some destroyers (the Mogador will be there) and submarines (Redoutable class).
There's also the French South Pacific units to fill out, which might include the Commandant Teste for one.

My work isn't "fantastic" in any way. I'm just a guy with some books and waaaay too much time on his hands...
There'll be some planes next.
Get married. That will take care of the problem of too much time on your hands.....

I've got all the types that were historically in service in Indochina:
Farman 222
Potez 25
Potez 542
Loire 130
Morane 406
as well as a few that weren't, but which I'll be bringing in:
Hawk 75A-1
Maryland
Latecoere 298
I might also bring in some others, if it strikes my fancy, possibly including:
Dewoitine 520
Bloch MB-174
AdA Spitfire
AeroNavale Hellcat
AeroNavale Dauntless

Thanks for all your time on such a nice gift Termie! Although I guess you'll really have to beef them up if you want the French army to resist anywhere between 2 or 3 weeks - I mean, apart from running to the Jungle and keep on fighting the Madagascar way...

The French Army? What's that?
Excerpt from the movie, 'We were soldiers'.
So young on the forums and already so dumb, such a shame. You're such a hero.

I'm aware of that. In my mod, the Japs decided not to press the issue
So they will let the US ship supplies to China ? How will this affect the results in China from 1940-41

Problem is, I can't really go overboard with it. The Army of Indochina was not much more than an internal security force.

If you've got some data on the Latecoere, please post it. That one was difficult to find.
Also, any range data on the Loire 130, please?

This may lead to a bigger Thai war effort as they can get back their historic territory with the Japs.

Thanks Terminus for the answers. Anyway all the political region will be affected, souds very interesting as I always liked "What If"
For the Loire 130 i found range of 1100 km according to two sources on internet, however as always caution should be put in internet sources.
For Latecoere 298 you can check this and try to sort the truth out :

If it may help.

Here's a badly-kept secret: so am I. The ship-sides are cut-and-paste jobs of official AE art, and the plane-sides are images downloaded from the net, scraped clear of their background and pasted in. I use wingspalette.ru for the aircraft.
