Meanwhile in exciting Naval News: The French fleet broke out of port by defeated a combined GB-Russian blockading force. The French fleet then sailed to the Med Sea and defeated another small English fleet holding supply for land troops and then sailed into port in Toulon. Unfortunately for the Frenchmen, Toulon had no troops to man its sea-cannons and the GB-Russian fleet did a port raid and won a victory.

Napoleon has decided to invade Turkey with a large force under his command and has taken Bosnia.

During the December Land Phase there were two battles in Italy between France and Spain.

In the First Battle of Modena. Davout attacked the Spanish under Castanos with Prove vs. Cordon. The battle lasted 3 rounds and the Spanish broke.(see picture).
In the Second Battle of Modena the Spanish attacked the French. Davout won again but the French force was reduced to only about 5 Infantry.

A battle takes place at Konigsberg between the Russian and Prussian and French armies when Prussia attacks the Russians. Echelon vs. Counter-Attack. Both sides break in the second round when the Russians commit the guard 2 levels and get a lucky die roll. Losses are Prussia-22,000 and Russia 27,000.

The coalition war continues. Spain's entry forced Napoleon to give up his dreams of marching to Constantinople. Instead he and Wellington are sparring in Italy. Wellington is leading a force of Turks, Spaniards and British. In their first and only meeting to date Wellington withdrew to find better ground. The Turks are nipping closely at Napoleon's heels.

Meanwhile, Spanish leadership controls another coalition force operating in France. Most of Southern France is currently under coalition control although Napoleon has been moving in that direction. The remnants of the French fleet were trapped and destroyed in Toulon.

The standoff continues along the Prussia Russia border with periodic clashes. Russian forces withdrew after on day of battle this turn with medium losses to both sides.

Russia is the only country currently at war with Prussia. Russia, GB, Spain and Turkey are at war with France. The current VP status is posted below. I made a spreadsheet since we had trouble with the in game score tracker.

The Russians and Prussians fight yet another battle at Konigsberg. The Prussians emerge victorious after three bloody rounds of fighting.
