Inter-system travel is always by hyperjump. Longer distances obviously require more fuel. Star systems don't move though, just planets and moons inside systems, so inter-system distances never change.

I didn't know that was one of the guys from Flight of the Conchords until I looked him up [:(] So I guess that means I'm not really a fan. [:D] In fact I hadn't even seen FotC until a couple of months ago when I was staying at a friend's place - I don't watch much TV I guess [:)]
