oddly, it looks smaller then my last one ! (had a 25.5)

but they about the same, only this one is a little wider, nice too !

I not been talking about my latest mess up, needless to say, I called to see if they could get my Crossfire Vid Cards working (only one was running)

the tech took over control, did this, did that, and broke the OS, so had to do a complete new reinstall of the OS

then major hassles with getting the drivers hooked up again, and still the Crossfire didn't work, after 9 hours on the phone, we finally got it working

go to bed, and wake up, Windows update crashed the computer, get it running, just finished off a Large Download, and the Internet crashed, mess around, the cable was good, the computer wasn't

when I got back to the techs, they had me do some checking, and found the mother board had died, pulled some plugs and waiting, put it back togeather and it didn't work, rebooted again, and it worked (but much slower then it should be) then the Vid Cards went out

so, got a Motherboard and 2 new Vid Cards coming (just got the call, they should be here in a hour or so)

boy, when I have bad luck, I don't mess around !

when the guy was finished, he looked at me and asked, What the hell did you do, that they sent all of this stuff to replace ?

I'm like, it wasn't me, your tech's did it

well, I am up, doing some tests to see how it works

I figured you do your own computer repairs. You seem to know so much about the subject. What do you do with your computers - use them as footballs on sundays?

I think HS ought to upgrade to a more reliable operating system, such as Windows 95.

naw, LOL, while the tech was sitting on the floor working on the computer, I noticed one of my old ones, sitting under a table (greesh, it is a Gateway, I can't remember how long ago I last had a Gateway running (oh wow, that is the one I first had BTR on !, that one didn't die, it was just replaced with a better model, should see if I can get it running when I go on vaction next (kill that one, instead of this one !)

and Naw, this one is XP (Dell had a trick, when Microsoft, demanded all makers to only ship Vista systems, they loaded up XP on it, and gave you the Vista disk as a upgrade, so they could say, they shipped a Vista Computer)

I always thought ME edition was typical MS offering. Perhaps he should upgrade to ME? At least then, the crashes would be expected!

HardSarge has "the touch" when it comes to computers......just like my GF!
