On the ground, the powerful 2PZR make a gap west of Luxembourg but there is mud and they cannot advance further in France

The 1pZR and the second mot div take the city of Antwer...Allies build a second line of defense but all this is not perfectly coordinate (in this game, you have to play a country's turn, press the end button and play the next one and so on...interesting...)

At the end of May, Brussel is taken by the 3th panzer corps, Belgium surrender and this disorganize the allied defense...german tanks push west into the gaps...In the air German fighters stikes the ennemy airports but RAF holds on and the Belgium sky is a dangerous place for the stukas and HE111. (The lost of the german tactical bombers are enormous).

The alllied situation is critical. The BEF has to withdraw...(Three units went back to the force pool...because of the belgium capitulation...). Some panzers are near Lille and a huge gap open the road of Reims to the 2PZ

Army group north avoid to attack Lille and push north and south of the city. Two french corps, one defending a major fortress are cut of their supply line. Dunkerke is almost under siege...The 2 inf BEF holds the city but has a lot of losses. The 8th panzer, a fresh unit push toward Reims and almost take it...we are the 24th of June. In the french government, some ministers around Maréchal Pétain push the french governement to ask an armistice to germany.

Others like Colonnel DE GAULLE who command the 1arm DIV, wants France to stay into the war...an offensive is made to push back the 8pZR near REIMS...the germans holds the position...

English troops leave Dunkerke...Churchill assure the french government that they won't leave them and that they are very close to launch a secret operation. Netherlands is not broken...german infantry has a hard time to fight around Rotterdam and Amsterdam

We are the first of July...The french government leaves Paris for Bordeaux (Champagne is lost but not the vineyards of Bordeaux). Units defending the Maginot line are moved north to hold the front.

England declares war to Norvege...even the french are surprised (Churchill made a lot of pressure to Norvege which kept staying neutral...an order was given to the royal navy two months ago to prepare an amphibious assault of Narvik, the main goal is to cut the import of Iron of Germany)
The operation is a total success

In France, things gets even worse for the allied. BEF tries to retreat to avoid a total destruction. Reims and Strasbourg are lost.

English troops manage to clean the coast around Narvik with the help of an intensive shore bombardement and The Illustrious.

The front in the middle of July is pretty close to break totaly but French units manage to protect the retreat of the BEF and take a new line of position further west. The french gvt decides to move to London. France will not sign an armistice...

Italy is neutral but prepare to war. They reach level 1 of the doctrine warfare. Mussolini ask England to step back from Norvege. In north Afrika several infantry divisions take position near the border of Egypt.

La marne river is crossed by german tanks...in the north a french corps is surrounded, order is given by Gamelin to withdraw again.

Italia declares war to France and england...This is not a surprise but are the Italian forces ready to fight...The Dutche has met Hitler in secret and north Afrika will be the reward to Italia in the help of defeting the Great britain empire.
