Ok everyone im back from dinner.

I have few questions.

1. Are we gona start tonight?
While I have no objections to this id like to have a night of deep planningm, hyping this beast in the main forum and I have 10000 things to do.

2. Can we put the DAR in the main forum? If Im gona take the time to read this beast I sure as hell want ppl to read it.

3. Orzel Bialy what was that german phrase you uttered?

Im sure ill have more q's

Also this goes without saying In case of a screw up
ALWAYS SAVE THE PREVIOUS TURN

This will save us a big headache when I hit the end turn button like I know I will, if im player one.

I dont know about you guys but ive got that 90% excited, 5% nevous, 5% tense feeling.

Im d/l'ing the setup file now.

OK ive got the setup file I should be the first for the allies.
Anway I can print this out so I can mark all over it?

Jess is master of turns so I imagine he'll admin our saves and that... as for turnarounds we'll just go with everyone's flow as all of us have lives etc but we all see to be pretty regular with that so I'd say no worries and we have to expect breaks getting this monster around 4 of us anyhow...

Herr Orzel knows lots of German, I'm sure he'll teach you some....

In the POW camp :D

I think the AB should be taken by player one. They went in before XXX Corp, and need to act first.

Tweety and Sylvester,

Fallschirmjager is going to play the Airborne (even my beloved 101st, but he promised not to break them), while I take XXX Corp.

Who's got north of the Rhine/ south of the Rhine?

FJ will be firing the opening shots for our team, and the game.

Goblin- A Goblin gives a briefing:)

Goblin if we are lucky the only thing Ill be firing at is you on accident when I mistake you for some Germans when you roll along Arnhem bridge.

we are going for a different division of force, I am playing the regular werhmacht forces and Herr Orzel the elites (SS, FJ, Spec Ops) etc... We haven't fully agreed on the armor balance yet but if not designated SS we will divide it / rename it to our satisfaction. All other details are classified I am afraid :)

?????

If I remember wasnt it like 5:2 SS:Reg forces?

I know there was several SS panzer divisons in the area.

Id divide it north south but its not my force to divide.

thanks for your concern Tommy yankee englander but the concerns of the reich are a matter of greatest secrecy and importance!

The 2nd SS Korps paner was weak.. they are correct to divide the force..

The allies..have their hands full for sure...

Oh.. by they way.. the Germans have their hands full too!;)

Ok, for fun, I was just wondering how we would tell who from who, thats all. Don't rename units like 'hellcat tank' or 'orzel infantry', we won't have a clue what they are. Try to let us know.

Jess, I am correct in assuming that the Allies have air superiority? Thus no German strike AC?

Goblin- A Goblin hates secrecy

the inf are easy as they're all marked out but we just put SS onto certain armor formations is all... no rocket science here

okay..a step back and a deep breath,, wooooooooooo hooooo

I can/and will/ Rename units to hit historical units.. I did not do this for two reasons..

1. Time.. we really (all of us wanted to get going as soon as possible) play test..YES I said Play test shows a draw..and re-naming units was not a matter..

2. Time.. we all or should know the battle.. if not please read about it..we all want a fair battle with lots of action.. we will get that if we all just go on!

PS:.. The play test was done on-line play.. 13 hours.. I wont say the final end... lets just say............ PLAY IT!

M4 Jess:cool:

more comming

Please do mark your units.

I want my AB units to be able to mark SS or Heer into there rifles after their kills

Well im going to bed gentlemen big day tomorrow,

It is already tomorrow for hellcat...

See you in Holland Fritz...or hell which ever comes first.

hi Jess don't worry about the renaming, we will just rename leaders or something so we can tell 'ata aglance' who is who at any given time... it's not an issue...

you'll know the units I'll be in command of

they will be the ones that keep killing airborne units even after they are smoking ruins! :D

because....I HATE AIRDROPS!!!   :D LOL

Hellcat is right though...we can rename the units pretty simple...so it isn't that big of a deal.

Outside of that...hope your troops really like Holland my friends, for most of them will get six feet of it very soon.

Orzel,

You better put a leash on him! I don't think he has the temperment for the defensive! You're gonna turn to say something to him, and his aide is gonna point towards the front, and shrug!

Goblin- A Goblin admires that;)

There are the quiet and the loud...

the reserved and the forward...this is a good thing. I will let Hellcat be Hellcat...for to do otherwise is to cage a wild animal.

****bong****
the echo of a giant gong fills the room.
A thoughtful Orzel has reflected. ;)
