ORIGINAL: Agent S

Despite all the game greenery, most of Australia is desert scrub. I'm not surprised supply is a problem. There are hardly any roads to some regions, and back in the 1940's 1 or 2 tracks at best.
I think the accuracy of the game is fairly low, better than HOI but poor compared to WITP AE.
Still it seems to provide an interesting conflict set on a map called Australia (in this example)
As for Lake Argyle, it wasnt completed until 1971!!!, plus you would laugh at what Elliot & Larrimah were in 1942-3, the game makes them look like important locations, and it's Tennant Creek

Really interesting AAR,
Fascinating how the screen grabs would suggest that all you would need to do here is just overrun the units, cut off their supply and watch them whither.
The shear weight of numbers would make this inevitable. Where is the Japanese backup?

This was my first time through this scenario since very early days. Looking at the "Units" tab on the opening page I could see the Japanese had a ton of units, including massive air power and naval superiority. I knew from my first try that supply was a real problem as I got farther from Elliot. I therefore, as you have seen, pulled back to allow supply to help me. I do not know of a report in SotP which is like the SP loss report in ToW so I was not sure how my attrition battle was going.

The Japanese Army is clearly making a mistake pushing their armor too deep into the mass of smaller units, and they will pay the price ... soon.
