Sorties lie at 87% most CV's have at least 18 torps left, 2 have the full 45 and one has none left.

I've plotted an intercept course at full speed so let's see what happens.

Why do you say that? Unless you're talking about where your opponent placed his carriers. In that case, I agree with you.

Any idea what's in those other two Allied TFs?

They are cargo ships which flied east from the Phillipines, he took that route cos the Mini KB was sinking ships around Jolo.

Ahh, very good. This early in the game he's got to have a good idea of where KB is. This doesn't make any sense at all. Go make him pay for it!

Dec 16th

AMc's began sweeping the mines at Singapore, a few days then the harbours open for business.

A couple of S Boats took a shot at my Phillipines convoys but both missed.

An AKL was gunned 4 times by my sub near Palembang.

And the first sub on sub action is a miss by the Japanese.

SS I-2 launches 2 torpedoes at 4,000 yards

Betty's and Nell's sortied against a task force leaving Singapore. Of course the Singers sweep didnt fly due to weather so they met the Buffalo cap. About 4 bombers were lost for 1 torp laden ship was hit.

The KB tried to intercept the Allied CV's however they are about 16 hexes west.

So they sunk alot of ships which were fleeing the Phillipines.Highlights was an AV,AS and medium AP sunk.

The picture shows the convoys all in range contacts were sunk.

Georgetown was captured only the static unit remained.

Here you can see the position of the Allied CV's. There presence is holding up my invasion convoys.

KB is in the right of the picture.

And today's rich sunk ship list.

It's a nice catch but now CV2 knows where my carriers are.

December 17th

The day started with the Allied Carriers being located and both Allied and Japanese Carriers reacting towards each other.

I jumped for joy 6 CV's vs 2 Allied CV's should be a great Japanese victory.

Alas only a small raid launched.

Enterprise was soon hit.

And so was the Lexington.

I was wondering where all my Zero cap was.

My ships had run out of fuel from the max speed pursuit.

Kaga took six bomb hits and had an ammo explosion, she sunk immediately.

The damage to the KB

Now I lay awake in bed thinking 6 CV's that's about 480 planes. Why did so few launch and why was my cap so low.

Then I remembered the ships had no or low fuel.

From the manual.

»» For every plane that is launched on a Strike Mission from
a TF, the ships in the TF expend one Endurance.
»» For every three planes launched on a Search or CAP
Mission, the ships in the TF expend one Endurance.

As 3 of my CV's had no fuel they couldnt launch aircraft. Hence the loss of CV Kaga.
