Should Singapore have land march paths to the Malay Peninsula. It was an island connected by a causeway. Blow the Causeway and you're an island again. Didn't the Japanese have to land from boats and barges?

Since the game does not model barges and light craft, I feel that these are abstracted somewhat between some bases. Singapore is an example of this. It is assumed that the troops will gather enough small craft to attack these bases on their own, without having to rely on larger transports (which they didn't need). Also, what about the retreating allied forces, how would they move to Singapore without the use of AP's? Plus, the AI would not hanlde it very well either.

Good idea, but the limitations of PacWar are very solid.

For version 3.1, how about colouring in that big strip of black on top of the game map?

I know it wouldn't serve any purpose to the gameplay but it will make the map look nicer.

The British Army blew the causeway, it didn't stop the Japs. all you needed was rowboats really, They Japanese army crossed at night and since genius Percival deployed his units as badly as one could possibly imagine, the Japs had no trouble getting established on the island.

If I recall right, water there was about chest deep, so no major obstacle to Japanese. I don't recall if they actually just waded through.
(Off-Topic a bit) Funny think was that Percival had got himself bad reputation around Ireland during the "Troubles" when he had commanded British troops there. So when one IRA leaders heard his capture...he sent a telegram to him via Japanese that "congratulated him about his masterful defence of Singapore". That must have hurt almost as badly as capture.
