--- Turn 8 Rzhev Front ---

The order of the day is Shuffle shuffle Dig. Followed by: Dig,Dig, Shuffle Pray.
Not much else going on, the ball is in Carnage's court. I contemplated hitting some of the weaker units in the line, but decided against it.
Panzers are massing... I can only wait till they crash into me.
In the meantime I am building multiple lines to deal with the breakthoughs when they come.
( Yes I got over happy with the Line tool, I could not help myself.)

--- Turn 8 Bryansk Front ---

Germans roll up to the next river line which I will be defending untill it gets flanked or the panzers get loose.
Not a whole lot of excitement, I again contemplated a couonterattack here and there, but decided against it.
It really goes against the grain for me to do so, but I resist the temptation to chew on the germans a little.

--- Turn 8 South ---

Germans a little slower than I Expected turning the corner towards Nikolaev. Most of the German mobile troops that I can see are clumped up at Kirovograd.
My troops fall back in good order from the east bank of the Dnepr and Kiev. I could probably duke it out with carnage for a turn or two here, but with Mobile troops pressing towards Dneprpetrovsk and Kharkov, and the large uncomitted formations to the north, staying in Kiev and its environs becomes too dangerous for me.
My center east of the Pripyat is very very weak, a Panzer thrust in that area could get ugly for me quickly.
I'll just have to see how much of the coastal army gets pocketed and jacked up...
The direct approach to Kharkov is heavily defended.

Turn 9

Updated to 1.05.37.

Experimenting with paint.net , does anyone like getting a full picture of the front? Trying to get a basic format down that is consistant from turn to turn.
The front after recon. Gomel and sevastopol areas omitted due to lack of space. Comments and suggestions are welcomed.

The aneurism pointing at Vyazma does not look too healthy for you unless Carnage neglects his corners

Feel free to transfer units from our game to help out

---Turn 10---

The Front at the start. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop on the German offensive. Evidently the forts stacked up behind the river lines scared the Panzers off.
Not completely sure where the Germans are going to push, but I marked out what I would do, and what I am expecting for the germans.
Those panzers in the south around the Dnepr bend need to crash across the river somewhere. Going south towards Sevastopol would be a good direction to get things moving.
The germans need to generate some movement and get the line rolling somewhere. As it stands I am controlling the pace, and I am getting more and more toys to play with.
I got over exuberant with the line tool again on the screenshot.. couldn't help it.

---- Rail ----
117k cap
ARM --- 15 from Kharkov; 18 previous; 120 total.
HI 00000 ; 6 total
MISC ---

I think the German advance in this game is a little to slow to get an accurate gauge on focusing on ARM exclusively. As far as I can tell I have only lost some misc HI, maybe carnage is keeping track of what he is killing.
With 120 arms moved out I think I may be safe to start moving Vehicle and HI now.

@sillyflower --- Dude I am going to need all those guys and more I am afraid. Unless you did something really dumb, I am sure that your army is going to be driving on the Urals sooon.

Turn 11

Breakthrough in the North!!
Carnage is going to make things interesting up here, I was hoping that there would be no Panzers charging around up here. I have to fall back a little faster than i wanted to.

Turn 11 Rzhev

Panzers get a little ambitous here, I am going to make them pay. Unfortunatley my incompetence farther north is going to force a withdrawal here as well.

Turn 13

Slacked last turn and didnt post anything. Will try to make up for it this turn. Highlights of turn 12: several counterattacks on german mobile units, and a failure that cost me big time. Fortunatly the units involved were able to extricate themselves and give the germans a little love tap on the way out. Turn 12 railed some vehicles out of kharkov and some Lagg factories out of Tagonrog. More vehicles this turn and then myabe some stuff from around moscow.
Carnage has turned his panzers south to the Crimea and is probably going to break out to krasnodar. I drop a couple of amphibious assaults to cut off the front panzer corp for a turn.

In the middle and south I am backing up slowly, there isnt a german mobile unit with in 500 miles.

At moscow im piling up everywhere I can, the trouble that was brewing on turn 11 is contained, for the moment.

And the Crimean debacle. I really should have built up a little in the Kerch area, but it is too late now.

I don't think the amphibbed guys are going to make it, but maybe seeing them show up like that will intimidate the germans into advancing slowly.

Good amphib move B. I learnt the hard way from you as Carnage is now.

I think you should have bought yourelf enough time in Crimea to stop him getting anywhere useful.

Looking pretty healthy everywhere else

Turn 14 Kalinin

Minor pocket releived for the moment and Mass assault on 2 panzer divisions cause significant losses. I would have liked to clear that last hex on my side of the river, but trying to move a 20 stack (even from 4 sides) is a major operation that I just don't have the juice for in this sector.

Continue to straighten the line and drop back some.

Moscow on Turn 14

The little bridgehead is going to unhinge my entire line. I am thinking I could try to hold the line where it is but that could bite me. Reesatbling the front along the green line will let me reorganize and make me feel safer, but I HATE giving up all those forts. The blue and pink dotted lines are my appreciations of what the potential from the panzers north and south of the pictured area could do given the information that I have. Decisions , decisions .......

Bryansk 14

More Problems here, another PZ with a bridghead. No way I can hit that mole with the trash that I have on this front ... Retreating for sure here, and hoping that the panzers turn south instead of north.

Snapshot of the south on 14

No mobile troops to threaten me for the most part, so I'm thin and spread out in depth.

The panzer corp threatening Stalino is very very weak, there may be an opportunity there to wreak some havoc on the invaders.

Crimea 14

More marines are going to land behind the german troops driving thru Kerch, If i can scrape up enough guys I may land on the airbases and adjacent to the HQ. Could prove disastrous as long as my recon found everything. If not It will be disastrous for me ....

Turn 15 .... Moscow
Railed out all of the IL-2s from Voronozh and something else i cant remember !! Lots of unit shuffling this turn so I lost track of what I railed.

Backing up to shorten the lines in front of moscow, the flanks both north and south of the capital are starting to get a little shaky.

I beef up in the Kuban, and launch a lot of counterattacks mostly in the middle. One pz gets klarned in the north, one in the middle and a motorized unit gets whacked south of stalino.
