AGC, Rzhev

Finally a breakthrough. I've done quite a bit of recon towards Moscow - nothing to be seen. The heroic 262nd Soviet rifle division holds off repeated assaults or our hold on Rzhev would have been complete.

Slow progress but we are over the most difficult rivers.

Odessa

Oleg evacuates Odessa (there used to be 3 units in each fort). The Romanians can deal with the rearguard.

At least we are tying down some strong units that are not in front of Moscow.

AGN/AGC, Moscow

Another breakthrough. We are threathening both Moscow and to create a pocket to the south. Supplies are nice and close.

Supplies are a bit short. One panzer corps takes a rest for a possible buildup next turn.

The infantry is right at the frontlines and is doing a lot of the fighting.

All those nasty rivers are a thing of the past. Kharkov and further east beckons.

The panzer division moving north is a faint to entice a retreat.

Moscow

Emptiness to the north so we take Kalinin. Not sure if the industry was still there, if any.

Infantry needs to catch up.

Another river with heavy defenses. Panzers here struggle with supply but get no rest as they are needed. The Soviets must not be allowed to dig in.

Moving east fast. There is still industry in Kharkov and Stalino+. Moscow and Leningrad are also full with factories.

Catastrophe. A single partisan units wins the war for the Soviets. All my units near Moscow are now out of supply.
