The whole British army moves forward in an indignant manner, with recon troops in front and some commandos dispatched to recon and sabotage.

The first shots are fired at motorcycle squads who promptly retreat, and at kubelwagen mounted scouts. I destroy 2-4 kubelwagens I think and force the scouts to retreat, i take the hill to the South with light elements which I'm sure will be ground to bits soon but they have done their job.

The turn is otherwise quiet, I lose one M3 Recce (recon kind of stuart, without turret or main cannon) to an early-model Tiger.

What's wrong with 8-inch howitzers?? :rolleyes: I didn't HIT anything important Did I?

8 inch arty is the king of battle:( Light tanks a recce units push down south, they push into AT guns many are destroyed, motorcycles units see anywhere from 20-30 units advancing all along what looks like a even front, Vetkin is looking for a gap, let see if he can find it:D

Hmmmm... Up north, my infantry tanks are blown to bits and a company of British airborne troops line up to receive the platoon of Tigers.

In the middle I destroy a StuG40, and retake a VHex

Anyways, the Germans blew up 2-3 infantry tanks this turn but what is that to the glorious British Army!?!?

Where are those commandos!?!?!?!

Brits everywhere, I kill several more tanks, but it look like he has more tanks than I have rounds:p

The British army moves slowly but inexorably forward. They know that the Germans are outnumbered. It will only be time...

Around 5-6 tanks die this turn in exchange for another Stug40 in a brilliant tactical maneuver that needs special mention. A Churchill goes face to face with the Stug but gets assaulted and immobilized by accompanying infantry. The Churchill forces the squad to flee leaving the Stug on its own. A recce draws the Stug's fire- which misses. A wasp hiding behind the hill races up and WOOOOOOooooOooooossssSSShhhhh Good bye overwatched Stug!

Ok here is your turn, many British tanks and trucks die this turn, I lose a Pz-IV. German rockets take there toll on some British infantry behind a hill. Back to you Monty

I do nothing significant this turn except to move all my troops slowly forward. Your tanks, though few in number, are really annoyingly great in quality.

A Wasp crew rushes in from behind a hill to try to flame a Pz-III (I think, or was that a StuG)?

Anyways, he failed and now the little flame tank is face to face with the heavily armored behemoth.... please please please let the gunner be cross-eyed!!!

That turn I kill two Churchills and two Wasp, it was a Stug, and he was not happy he even machine gunned the crews:p granted he got a little hepl from a Tiger.

As far as your question, go to the little clipboard icon that list all your units, ao there it will tell you how long it will take for your cammandos to show up, there is a chance they won't show up at all, if it reads turn 99 for them showing up then they are lost.

My commandos finally arrived! But 2 squads short... hmmm

Anyways, a squad of commandos infiltrates to the rear but fails to destroy a Jagdpanzer (i think it is) and suffers some casualties. The other squad takes the VHes to Viking's rear, praying that the British main force break through in time.

Up front, I'm moving my line forward again at a snail's pace as 88mm, 75mm, and whatnot shells smash into trucks, people, tanks and others. Not too many casualties this turn though, and

To MY rear, a German commando group is repulsed by 2 squads of airborne infantry.

I'm gonna execute my artillerymen... they are missing everything!

The British line is holding although they are running out of serviceable tanks. I have a total of (2) PIAT anti-tank guns in the battlefield. They should suffice. (Said with an arrogant English sniff)

The infantry line however is holding, Tigers are advancing slowly but inexorably towards my line, half a dozen plus plus 88mms raking the infantry.

I destroy your infiltrators to the south and force back a 2-3 squads of paratroopers who are attempting to climb MY hill.

I'm not joking part of the battle field looks lokk a scene staigth out of Ben Hur there is 10 or so wagon racing to the FEBA

Well, I'm not sure about that, but they do look kinda cool and intimidating huH? what with the world of dust they've kicked up?

Anyways, the British army has repulsed the first German try to take the hill. Two paratrooper squads are flambed by flame tanks and two more I think got forced back. An MC squad also gets flamed and retreats, their rubber tires on fire.

It took a long time for those wagons to reach the front lines, but they are here, just in the nick of time to bolster the English lines.

I will defend My hill to the best of my ability. Say goodbye to that building covering your PzIII soon. Better not stay there hehehehe
