Almost there...
Sory, real life interfered for a bit, plus having to work around the availability limits got a bit complicated. Visibility 5 also forced some serious rethinking of my OOB...
If you deliberately chose low visibility to handicap the Germans, you made a BIG mistake
Anyway, I went real easy on Tigers, in fact I didn't bring any kind of 88mm gun

Ok, I'm done.
Map's a bit small for this size army. It's gonna get messy

No, the whole thing was random... ****... visibility 5...
Anyways, the British advances, taking a few VHes. A Sherman is destroyed. In your rear, airborne tanks destroy a rifle squad.
2 of your para-snipers are also killed.

If it was random, I am sorry. Seems only compassionate to put you out of your misery quickly then
Here goes:
Three of your flying tanks are killed by flak, with a little help from some Sturmtigers (see? no 88s

)
On the south flank there are three dead Fireflys, one immobilized and one with unknown damage. Those Achilles things will be next.
BTW two minor points. Do you have fast arty turned off? didn't see shells, gliders or para's drop, not even my own.
I can see your crashed gliders, even beyond the vis. range from any of my units (as it should be, like other destroyed stuff, they're part of the scenery), but there's only three of them? Did some of them land on top of each other or something? Must've been painful

Uh-oh
"British command, this is lead element 666, we have a bit of a problem here."
"Roger 666, what is it?"
"Sir! As you very well know by now, it is nighttime..."
"So what soldier? Speak uP!"
"We are outmatched sir!!! This German commander we're facing happens to have Panther G Uhus!!!!"
"Good Heaven's lad! Uhhhh............."
(silence on the radio)
Dear god Katana, why did u have to buy the Panther Gs??? It could only be them, what with the 75mm KwK guns... fitted with their UV or IR searchlights....
2 Achilles moving into position are destroyed this turn from a range of around 8-9. They can see nothing except darkness...
All 3 sets of VHes are secure. I destroy an Ostwind flak tank in the rear, 3 recon patrol teams and 3 kubelwagens (die car die!!!) hehehe
Infantry are moving into position, pushing back more German infantry elements.
I'm in trouble now... never faced these panther owls b4....

BTW, I had 2 Special glider tank platoons (8 tanks)
1 was lost during the drop (crushed by the glider no doubt)

1 is just lost, I think the glider dropped without the tank

weird hehe
3 are destroyed last turn by your flak tanks
3 are still living, as of this post
They have the most dangerous job in my army group don't you agree?

You didn't have to tell me the exact number of glider tanks, now I know what I'm facing.
As for the Uhus, well what would you have done in my place?
Besides, you were getting a bit, shall we say, overconfident.
And even though they can see twice as far as anything, but they're still lousy spotters. Think of it as a crash course in infantry tactics.
Anyway, you posted the wrong game, we're slot 6...

Slot 9 is my game against him, the horrible bloodbath also in low visability bad weather. I am busy rounding up the last of his forces to slaughter them
Also I have noticed he seems to have fast artillery on , no matter how much I ask him to turn it off!!:D

Overconfidence is a great sin of mine
Btw, I don't know what happens with the Fast Artillery, last time I checked it was off, I don't know why it keeps on turning on, try looking at the VCR playback to see where exactly the arty rounds fall.
Here's your turn Katana, sorry

Thats the point, the artillery is not shown in VCR playback if you have fast artillery on.

German rear area grows quiet once again. One tank destroyed, two abandoned, one crew still on the run.
On the south flank I destroy an Achilles, a Comet and some Fireflies. Cavalry charges the surviving crewmembers and kill some.
Near the centre a croc is spotted. These things are tough:eek:
Took 3 or 4 hits to destroy.
The infantry in the north will be dealt with shortly.
Run limey, run

German cavalry charging everywhere, Panther Uhus destroying a couple of tanks (3-4)
120mm smashing into my positions...
I destroy 2 recon patrols and a Pz100 team.
The Brits consolidate and bunker down... There's no chance in bloody hell they can take on the all-weather panthers face to face.
I still hold all VHes

The north flank of the Brittish line looks to be faltering, infantry running away and getting shot to bits, Shermans getting blown up or emptied...
A bit further south German forces advance at a steady pace. One Panther got immobilised when it got to close to an Achilles, but it's flank on to the 25pder so it'll probably die next turn.
Sturmtigers blow away the infantry overwatching the side of the hill, cavalry chases afte the fleeing survivors.
On the other side of the battlefield, a firefly immobilizes another Panther, but gets destroyed by the return fire. More crocodiles have appeared as well, all have survived the turn, but none of them unscathed.
Towards the German rear the last flying tanker is executed, while in the Brittish rear area my other Uhu thing puts the hurt on some sort of gunline.
The Vhexes only count at the end of the game

2 Panthers are destroyed this turn, well, one is de-crewed, but just as good
A recon patrol and a kubelwagen also dies. A few charging cavalry are pushed back.
I lose a Sherman and an Achilles to accurate long-range Panther fire.
Another funny thing happened, one of my 6-lb. AT guns was trying to reposition itself. So the crew loaded the gun on the half-track then started moving forward. Just when it is crossing the bridge, your... I forgot what its called Infantry Mortar? SP artillery? tank fires its massive HE cannon, destroying the BRIDGE but not the HT. But of course down comes HT, AT gun, bridge and all... I just had to stare and say 'what a shot!'
LOok for it at the VCR replay, at almost the end of my turn

It's an SP-gun, same as a Stug. What I call it is probably unprintable.
More Brittish tanks explode as the Uhu's exploit their advantage.
Infantry is fleeing fleeing for their lives with the German cavalry hot on their tails. A kuebelwagen claims some of the Vhexes in the centre.

Brits are in trouble all across the line, especially in the middle. A few attempts to destroy a few discovered Panther Uhus fail as one Achilles is smashed in the rear by a Panzerfaust and another is holed from long-range by a supporting Panther.
I destroy 1 kubelwagen on a hill hehehe what a trade...

More dead infantry in the north, fresh targets found for my Panthers...
Things are moving along nicely in the centre. Another Achilles dead and a Sturmtiger kills a rifle squad, a mortar and a 6pder with two shots.
Still busy clearing the woods in the south, still some tanks left that evaded destruction.

A Pz100 team, 2 recon patrols and a German cavalry squad is wiped out this turn. The Brits are determined to make the Krauts pay for every step they take in this darkness. IR searchlights light up the night everywhere but luckily repositioning Achilles' are missed. One resists a 75mm round to the front.
Brits' heavy guns pound the advancing Germans, and also the nearby hills where Panthers are thought to be hiding...

A dead Sherman and Achilles up north, two more spotted, along with a 17pder gun overwatching the VHs. German advance slows a little, waiting for the infantry to catch up.
In the south a Brittish infantry platoon is trying to sneak around the flank, I'll have to do something about that.
