ARRRGGGHHHH...what's this with me getting killed all the time? Is this anyway to run a battle?!

Even with me out of the fight the flank continues. The wheels are set in motion...now let's see if we can derail this train.

There are 2 Soviet units inside the blocking positions. We'll see if I can get rid of them.

The flank attack is starting to take ground and threaten the Soviet flank units.

We need to do some damage somewhere. The score is just about as even as it can get.

The flanking Leo's shoot up any and all Soviet AFV's they encounter.

The Soviet spearhead is getting nervous. One of the units inside tries to breakout but is destroyed.



The flank attack continues to destroy Soviet advancing units.

Some of the flanking units hit the Soviet advance units extremely hard.

Leo's are proving to be great gunnery platforms.




The cost for success is high. 3 of the 12 attacking Leo's have been put out of action.

The pocket is beginning to form around the advance units. They are milling around in the same spot and if they will sit long enough we'll take care of this problem.

Right now the score is dead even. Well, there are a lot of dead!

The Panzer Brigade is fighting hard.

The pocket is collapsing with the lead elements trying to break out to the east.

Another of the breakout units is destroyed.

This battlefield is anything but empty.



The progress of the battle can be followed by the string of burning AFV's from both sides. Up the left side then swinging down to the center.

There is no more Soviet threat. At the moment we are mopping up what is left of the advance unit.

And now everyone is getting tired. The combats are no longer as prolonged or as likely to produce results.

Now that J2D found the pause button I should be able to take more screen shots. That in turn should make for better AAR's. I don't do AAR's well to begin with so any help is really appreciated.

The problem is simple.

My units and I'm sure the Soviet units are all running out of ammo.

The Soviet forces are no longer concentrated as they were. Of course there are a lot less of them now.

My forces don't have the ammunition to drive them from the field but I don't worry about holding the ground I have either.

I do want to wipe out the Kessel before I'm through with them though.
