I tried to find Ron's old "Kablammo" graphic, but no joy. Maybe someone out there downloaded a copy?

I think I got it from a war floggie.
There you have it! Nobody said etymology was easy. Now we are getting somewhere.
I might agree with you, if only I understood what the word 'floggie' translated to in English.

[:D] I can see why a young lonely at sea might acquire a magazine with pictures of half or completley unclothed women...but I am not following why it would have stories about colorful racial taunts from WWII.
