I thought the Tiger wasn't available in any of the Case Blue scenarios? Or am I missing something? (Or is this primarily intended for modders?)
(anyway, these all look beautiful - really good work )

I'm not sure, but it comes with the game, so I guess scenario designers can add it...

No, it's in the game.
It appears as replacements tanks in 1943 jan, feb, mar, and april.
Cheers,

There's a Tiger batt. that arrives late 1942 which was (I think) attached to the 6th Panzer historically.
Also, the SS divs arriving early 1943 had a Tiger company organically.

Phew! Would have been a long wait to use the graphic otherwise
I prefer the camo version, by the way. I based all my mods on tank photos found online.

Cool! I ask because I don't think the Tiger shows up in the list of units when you do the "Compare" feature, which is something I did early on just to see what units were available in the game, and it appears from the in-game list that the PzIVG is the most modern German tank available. But I'm psyched to hear that the Tiger is available --

I have also modded the Zoomed In Soviet unit flags to make them less glaring - they were hurting my eyes! I applied the same flag to all Soviet peoples/unit types, as that's what 'Soviet' stands for

I'm now starting the 'Winterization' phase of this mod for Operation Uranus.

PanzerKrieg Winterized Unit Mod Version 1.0
I have 'winterized' the main units on both sides, as shown below. I may add some others later.

Well, I need to start playing the game soon
I almost have it how I want it. Next few tasks:
1. Mod the OOB and Events so that the Axis Panzer divisions get more historical starting strengths. Willie Pete has looked at this and estimates that they are about 20% down on their historical tank numbers across the board, so we plan to bump them all up by that factor.
2. Possibly add an optional Dirty/Muddy Vehicles pack to be installed during non-winter months.
After those two jobs are done, I would say this game will come closer to any other to meeting my East Front gaming dream.
Pretty sad, huh?

Dirty/Muddy vehicles now available to download via the PanzerKrieg thread...

redmarkus4,
you have already delivered excellent work for War in the East.

Great that you continue now with Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue for your talent.

Your great work just make Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue more interesting.
I especially liked your "dirty" units.
Do I understand this correctly, if you installed the winterized units, then you will see these winterized units permanently.
So even during the summer months?

Yes, when the summer comes you just need to deactivate the Winter Units in JSGME and activate the dirty units. For most scenarios you will only need to do this twice in 150 turns.
Worth the effort

Unfortunately this is very cumbersome.
But I liked your work so much that it's worth the effort to me.
Your mods on the units values the game even further.

Thaks again.
Yes, I know it's a bit cumbersome. I have suggested in the Tech Forum that Vic adds a feature to automatically toggle the unit graphics folders based on the weather in each hex.
With the current game design, I can't do it any better than it is right now.

I had the same idea.
But we need three modes: clean and ironed at the beginning of the war, dirty, winter.
