So, all in all, not good enough. A little too slow (which is nothing new for me really with this game), so others are much better to give hints and tips than me.
My main issues is weak pockets, and slow speed, so if anyone wants to offer advice as how to be quicker and gain a major victory, please feel free to do so.

Very good info here and important strategies for me and anyone to consider. I didn't know I could get VPs from air bombardments. I see it involves a little more than the RTM scenario. More than just clearing out a pocket with infantry and conserving MPs. Thanks I will study what you have employed as a means. You are an excellent instructor/ war game mentor.

Again, you are quite good. I don't see anyone else here, whipping of the cuff, victories for these scenarios and being able to explain what their intent was as they went along as you did.

Hehe that I post here does NOT mean I am a good player, just ask the readers of my AARs [:)]
Only glad to help someone else get into this game I love/enjoy/hate/scream at/pull my hair out at/cheer at (you get the point) [:D]

The VPs for men/guns/AFVs/AC killed was also present in RTM, it was just not mentioned by me [X(]

Note : just did a quick check, it is absolutely possible to take Voronezh at T2 if you pave a path straight towards it, and place 2 panzer divisions just NW of the city, so that they do not have to attack across the rivers. A few untis then move up and aid in the deliberate attack on T2 (some will have to attack from across the river), but did not play it to the end to see if that ment a major victory or not.
It does however prevent the making of a pocket on T1 though...
