"Computer" are the ones under computer control, aka the auto convoy system. "Computer CS" are the convoys that you have created and set up as CS (aka continuous supply) convoys that continuously run back and forth over a route, picking up and dropping off what you have told them to (supply, fuel, oil resources).

Thanks very muchly for your input and everything, but um.......I'm still confused. I thought only those convoys that you specifically set up
for the auto-convoy system were those you made computer controlled. So is there a toggle to go from computer-controlled to CS? The
only toggle I'm aware of only goes from human to computer w/ no CS step in there. Does it have to be loaded w/ something to allow the
CS state? Maybe you could paint me a picture?
EDIT: I know so little about it I'm not sure I'm asking the correct questions. Maybe a step by step explaination might ellicit further light.

So um......Palembang will soon be the recipient of about 22K of supplies which is a good thing.....that will bump Paley over the 10K limit
and start the repairs on the Oil Centers again, hopefully.

I'm thinking that my defender at Gasmata might be overwhelmed soon so to prevent a disaster I'm having one TF load all the land
combat units there ( one INF and one AA unit ) and another TF is sucking all the supplies off the beach so as to leave a "scortched
earth" for Jim when he captures Gasmata. I'm guessing that if he were to capture it now, before all the supplies are gone then he would
be able to use those supplies to last longer in the jungle I'm guessing. And if it's one thing I don't need it's Allied units wondering wild in
the outback and where ever.

I seem to have cornered an Allied sub halfway between Shortlands and Tulagi. I'm not sure what Jim has in mind for that dude but he's
busy at the moment and will have to get back to you. Leave your message at the beep and give me a number where I can reach you.

OK, first off I do not use the Auto-Convoy system. I used it some at first with WITP against the AI. So, this is form long ago and there might be more info from someone else.
Somewhere on either the port display (showing a list of the ships there) or on an individual ship's display you can specific that a given ship is to be used by the Auto-Convoy system.
You can also create a TF and set it to "Computer" controlled. At that point, is it part of the Auto-Convoy system or simply an individual convoy controlled by the computer? On reflection, I realize that I don't know for sure. I just don't ever use those two options.
I do use CS convoys and they work quite well.

I want to drive this E boat into the Malang hex just to see if there is a minefield there and if so I want the E boat to retreat without anymore
discussion. The less damage the better. I'm hoping these settings on the thread tolerance etc. are those that are needed to do that. I
don't really want to lose this boat despite the memo's I've been sending. What would really be good is that if some of the flying boat
search planes that I have on recon could tell me whether or not there's a minefield there from the air. That's hoping for too much I
guess. Um.....I'm guessing that there will be some kind of major damage that I'll try to get the ship to make it to Singkawang where I'll
see if we can fix some of the bigger holes and then send it on to Saigon to finish up the minor details about the major repairs that are
still needed since leaving Singkawang. Either way I do this is probably wrong. Somebody correct me, I'm new at this boats-move-too
kind of thing. I'm coming to WITP-AE from WITE and it's a real learning curve.

Thank you very much for your input(s) and all that info. I'll get busy and experiment with the settings so I can see whether or not I can
set up some of those CS missions. Sounds good. I've even found the filter to click on to not list those in the display on the list all TF's.

I have 4 ( four ) CM boats at Madjene and they have 146 mines and I'd kinda like to discourage that Allied sub at Banjo. So I'm going to
have these 4 CM's meet a PB about 1/2 way across the sea there and join into a convoy with an escort, then lay some mines at Banjo.

Here's the situation near Manila. The Allied forces are being slowly beat down and will be ripe for DA's sometime in March I'm guessing.
The pounding by air has been going on for about a month now and is going slower than I had hoped. Maybe I need a bunch more
aircraft participating. I tried to bombard Bataan by ship but the CD guns sank my DMS ships and damaged some of the surface raiders.
I'm sure I'll try that again real soon. The operation to beat down the PI defenders is falling behind schedule and there's no good guess
as to when Manila will fall.

It's Friday 15:54 and I just received Jim's moves and did the combat replay etc. now for the combat results.
Here's some Tracker alerts....note the sinking of the Allied carrier Enterprise. Cool.

My Zero's fly to Midway to do a sweep and instead of finding a few Buffalo's they find Wildcats and lots of them. There must have been
a whale of a furball. The results of the contest leave a little bit to be desired on the part of the Zero's. But at least we know where some
of the Allied carriers are now. New task: sink those Allied carriers.

In the first carrier v carrier stike in this war so far my Zero's, Kates', and Vals' take the war to the Enterprise and sink her. Also, the
Lexington took a torpedo so maybe I can finish her off tomorrow. I'm going to have to break off the engagement on Midway and
pursue these carriers to hopefully get all of them.
