The AI does seem to get additional troops and production advantages vis PBEM games.





The Russians still try to break the defence of Lemberg, and the strain is beginning to tell on my forces.





In the West, the French are ejected from their defence's and I advance.

The Russians break through, but make a fatal mistake.





Despite repeated assaults, Nis refuses to go down.....curse them!!!

In Privileged mode, yes it does, but not in Balanced mode I promise. As the Entente, the AI tends to focus a lot more on Egypt than it seems most human players do, but I promise that (unless there is a bug that I have been unable to detect or reproduce) the AI doesn't get any production bonuses on Balanced.

Heavy fighting continues around Przemysl, and the Russians break back into the pocket.

Turn 19:-

Winter passes, leaving the Russians and Austro-Hungarians punch-drunk after heavy fighting throughout the winter.
The Russian Cavalry unit was destroyed.








In the South, Nis falls to determined Austro-Hungarian offensives.
