I was'nt thinking in terms of PP's. When you put it like that, I felt much better!![:D]

The game is tense and exciting, and Warspite is a great opponent!!
Every turn has its surprise's!![X(]

I suspect I'm a great opponent because I appear, once again, to be getting my bottom whipped.....[;)]

In all seriousness though, and apologies if I've mentioned this before, but this is a terrific game!

Thanks to CTGW, this is the first time I have gone down the PBEM route - I must say its a great, easy to use, system Slitherine have going here. Playing some quality opponents too - Empire, the Ormster and colberki to name but three. Thoroughly good fun!

And that attack that wiped out my Korps in the south of France made me shudder!!!

Artillery was still the God of War in WWI.

As to a great game....I just can't stop playing it.
I'll soon be checking in to the 'Gary Grigsby Rest and Recuperation Clinic for Inveterate Wargamers.'

The game looks so deceptively easy, that at first glance I thought I'd play it for a bit and then move on to something else. But each game gets more and more exciting!!!!

No matter how this game turns out Warspite, I hope you'll be up for a rematch!!

The Fall of Warsaw.

In Serbia, the Austro-Hungarian Empire begins its plans to take Skopje.




The West is strangely quiet, giving the German Army more time to dig in.

Disaster!!! The Italians tear up their alliance with Austro-Hungary and join the bad guys!!






With Teutonic thoroughness though, the Central Powers are prepared for this stab in the back.






The Italians are the first to use a fiendish and thoroughly unsportsmanlike secret weapon and bomb Trieste.
Civilians have been killed in the streets!!![:@]
The Central Powers appeal to the world to show their distaste for such diabolical weapons.






In revenge, the Central Powers sweep down into the plains of northern Italy, to show the Italians they chose the wrong side.

Warspite blasts a hole in the Front with combined Artillery, Aerial ( bombers[X(] ) and Infantry assaults







Revenge is sweet as Serbia's last major supply point, Skopje, is set ablaze by heavy fighting when Austro-Hungarian troops rampage past the city's last line of defence.

With no hope of rescue in sight, the garrison in Kovno valiantly try to hold off the merciless rain of shot and shell, as the Germans relentlessly pursue their objective.

Has Venice been abandoned?

Not yet!!

I am hoping though that by applying pressure, I can force them to run away a la Verdun[:)]

Fog of War works so very well in this game.

The 'Fear' that this creates in the player can be used to the others advantage.

I hope that the plans to incorporate an 'UNDO' button ( which is needed ), are thought through very carefully in this respect.

Unscrupulous players could use the UNDO button to their advantage to gain information about enemy dispositions/intentions, so I hope your team will take this factor into consideration Myrddraal.

It may be that the undo button is disabled completely for mp. At the very least, is should not be possible to undo orders which alter FOW. This hasn't been finalised yet.
