I hope you enjoyed this preview of the campaign system.
IMHO, I think the campaign system implemented is awesome.
How you play in a FF and which units survive and carry forward really will influence the next FF.
It adds a new layer of strategy to the battles.
Do you try for that last VP or do you save your wounded unit for the next FF. Or maybe go for that kill on the wounded enemy unit to deprive your opponent in the next FF.
An example of this impact I had while playing the Hoth campaign.
At the end of the second FF, my opponent scored a lucky one shot kill on my lone PzIIIe.
In the third FF, the Russian player still had a BA10 and 2 T26s and I had no armor to keep them in check.
It was an exciting FF and required a whole different strategy for the German player.
Things like this really open the game up and make it a blast.
