Turn8: AGC: 2nd Panzer pushes out of the bridgehead, to encircle the units holding the landbridge. OKH redirects 3nd Panzer to link up with Guderian. The pocket is weakly constructed but it will shake things up in this sector.

dAk 41 ,
You seam to play with a fairly historical orbat in the south , the only exception i can tell is the 1 SS cavalry brigade, is that on
pourpose ?
Generaly + 80 % of the reinforcements were sent south until mid august ( 5 divisions to 6th army, 1 to 17th army, 1 to 11th army, 1 mot to 1st panzer )

Hi Dak,
I will follow closely your AAR to see if you will follow a different strategy vs Ketza.
Best wishes for your current match.

I generaly play with historical reinforcements :
96th inf div : 16th army
94th inf div : 17th army
98th inf div : 6th army
294th inf div : 6th army
132nd inf div : 6th army
46th inf div: 11th army
93th inf div : 18th army
207th sec div: regional comand north
79th inf div : 6th army
95th inf div : 6th army
60th mot div : 1st panzer
8th SS cav : Agc (should be regional command center )
1st SS mot : Ags (should be regional command south )
183rd inf div : 4th army
339th static div - AGC
707th static div - AGC
Despite the heavy overloading at the start , once you put the axis minors under their national comands , you have 38 german infantry divisions (99 jagger withdraws ) + 10 panzer/moto in AGS.

Turn9:AGN: 18th army opens a hole in the Narva line, and 4th Panzer goes thru past lake Peipus. Luga line dead ahead.

Turn9:AGC: 3rd Panzer and 2nd Panzer link up again (weakly). but 2nd panzer bullies its way south of Smolensk. His 2 tank divisions held out for quite a few rounds but finally broke.

Turn9:AGS:1st Panzer is across the lower Dneipr in force and fans out on the Nogay steppe isolating the Crimea, and catching some units guarding the river. 11th Army tries to catch up.

Turn9: Ground Losses. I think my tank losses are getting too high.

Turn9: Units destroyed. Not many Soviets units destroyed this turn. Rumanians cannibalize a airbase for man power.

Turn10:AGN: Coming up against the Luga line. I wasn't too happy with my progress this turn on this sector. His line held and the panzers didn't have enough fuel too go very far around his right.
