Thanks wodin but that's not it. Matrix tried to help me a long time ago but nothing worked. I really think that it's a Verizon thing.

Not knowing your setup, but if the Verizon modem/point of connection in your home to your network is also a router, you most likely have a router to router issue if you have your own router. FTP usually needs certain 'ports' open and they have to be open on both routers for FTP to work. Router to router issues can drive folk wild. Seems like the most likely place to start investigating, assuming of course if you wish to revisit trying to get the updater to work.

BlackMoria,
Thanks for the idea. I'm using a small external device that I connect via USB. I'm not aware that it has any router capabilities but I never thought about it since I've never used a router. However, I'm going to call Verizon to see if my device has that capability and perhaps that's part of the problem.
Thanks again.

Hello,
I started the tutorial when I had v2.01 but didn't have time to finish it before updating to 2.02. I realized that with the change to the dismounting dialog box for the 1st AA, the tutorial is now wrong. I'm reading it line by line but can't find any box to choose a dismount distance. Reading the patch notes told me that the rule had changed, but a new player might not notice that this will impact the tutorial.

I would suggest that either rhis be highlighted in the TOC or the .pdf tutorial instructions be changed. New players expect the tutorial to be accurate and when it isn't, we can get frustrated and sometimes walk away or bad mouth the game publicly. ("They can't even do a tutorial correctly). Unfair, perhaps, but I think you might want to fix this one. A small change, but I think it could cut down on some headaches.

I'm looking forward to learning the game.

Thanks.

Arnir, the Tutorial not getting updated was an oversight on my part and I will fix it this week.

Thanks. Could you also fix the tutorial so that I don't lose a whole platoon of Challengers to AHs on contact? [;)] That was painful.
