The second axis impulse begins with a weather roll of 10 adjusted up to 11.

This was a short turn because of the horrid weather. The allies ended it on their second impulse on a roll of a 1. No partisan activity this turn. The US entry number are GE/IT 16 Japan 11.
The US chooses the option of escorts in the east coast.

Weather is horrible everywhere except here, so the Japanese decided to try a land combat in the south of china, attacking at a 3-1 not always the best idea, but when you roll a 16 good things happen.

An assault on Changsa goes off without a hitch, and another city falls to the Japanese. The US didn't appreciate this as they receive an entry chit for this action.
The turn ends after this during the allies turn. The Chinese get a communist partisan which plops down on a resource the Japanese were using. The US choose the build Chinese aircraft option, causing a chit to be moved to the tension pool with japan.

M/A 40 starts with the axis winning initiative, the weather is fine everywhere, and Germany declares war on Belgium. The US does receive an entry chit for this. France aligns Belgium.

France should not align Belgium. It looks good at first because the French then cooperate with the Belgians. But when France goes Vichy, the Belgians (i.e., the Belgian Congo and any Belgian units left on the map) might go to the Axis.

We beta tested a lot of the effects on French aligned & conquered minor countries when Vichy is declared. None of those was pleasant for the Allies.

Thanks for the advice Steve. It's good to know things like that, coming from testers experience.

Yeah, I believe the Belgian convoy should be set up in Africa as well so it won't get overrun and the Brits can certainly use extra convoy points.

Ground strikes into Belgium are successful, disorganizing all belgium land units. German bombers also launch into France for the first time, disoganizing one unit. No air loses to date.

M/J 1940 starts with Italy declaring war on the Commonwealth. Weather is fine everywhere. Italian port strike on Port Said. Allies are surprised and they lose a light cruiser, the Newcastle.
