What happens if I have B476 then copy/overwrite B479 files but forget to overwrite B478 files ?
Does it matter? or should I overwrite with B478 then B479 again ?
thx, Pando

pando, you should not have to incrementally patch, each one seems to be a full patch. I did not patch through each one, only grabbing every second one or so, and mine works great.
D, Mike,etc... This patch 479 is about perfect so far... I have been trying to get a crash just to see, and have not been able to, and my scenario-in-progress has probably 3500 total units (will shave a lot of them down as I try to get to the minimum amount that I can still achieve what I want) Great job. I have never seen a game patched multiple times in a 3 week period![8D]

This patch seems to be MUCH smaller than previous ones, which makes me wonder if it's supposed to be incremental. Update 476 comes in at about 138MB, but the 479 file is a mere 25.6MB. That and the fact that trying to load a save file with just the 479 files applied to a base v1.01 install leads to database errors makes me think that this isn't cumulative.

_As a rule_, all updates released are cumulative.

B479 was an exception to this because we were under severe time constraints. Either it would be an incremental release (as happened) or it would have been released the following day, which was extremely undesirable.

So if you have a pristine v1.00 or v1.01 installation, and want to update to the latest public release, you can download and unzip B478, and then B479 on top of it.

Or you can wait a few days for v1.02, which will be our new starting point for quote a while.

"We must break the rules, Vanya. Fortunately, the book allows for that also."

Super, I though that was the case. Just a quick clarification, B478 is also 25.6MB, so do you mean apply the each incremental build to the last big update? Which in this case is 476 I think. Not a big problem, as v1.02 will be out soon for us to enjoy [8D]

Thanks for all your efforts, I knew the investment in this title would be well worth it [&o]

So, having not seen any bad feedback on 480, when is 1.02 getting officially released? Just curious is all.

I have to point out its going to have limited feedback if its not been made an RC...

unless 480 is a final release for 1.02?

Roger, meant there was minimal feedback on the development forum.

Hey i applied the 479 update over the 476 one not realising that i had to do the 478 one first - have i screwed my install up? should i just wait for the official update?

Hello, I had the same concern.
Since it's incremental, I just applied 478 and then 479 again.
Seems to work.

So, what you're basically saying is that Command is "one game to rule them all." Okay, I can go with that. :)

One cannot simply walk into Mordor. One must send a fully loaded B-2.
