I don't really want the team involved in writing scenarios I'm too lazy to actualize myself.

I want more design tools, and more granularity.

Might as well make it extensible and robust while you're at it. [:'(]

What is it about the scenarios you don't like? Since I'm the only one that is writing scenarios that comment just affects me and my position on the team.

Good Hunting.

love the scenarios you have written MR. Played all of them. And that's where I'm at. Played all of them several times now.

I love the engine, but I'm not really *playing* the game much these days.

That's why I am using the tools provided to put my energy into maps, OOB's, TOE's, and new scenarios. And I want more tools (more elevation levels really) because it's part of the fun for people like me, and because no single scenario writer can keep this game afloat given the 14 hour time frames.

Your mileage may vary.

Wabac, you do know we have 10 levels available right now. How many are you looking for?

Not to keen on the counters in the screenshots. I prefer just a plain background. Will the game come with a choice of styles?

Eh, I like the blue and red counters; beats trying to discern between two close shades of blue.

It's the maple leaf I wasn't keen on. Stripes are fine though prefer it to be abit thinner and across the middle.

Easy enough to spin your own counter backgrounds. It is just a graphic file in the national data folder.

Hopefully there will be a choice. I also prefer the current ones.

In the shot are the current backgrounds for the Canadians and the Czechs. I Have ones for East Germany, France and Poland worked out too. As I said if it doesn't work for you make one of your own to replace it. I'm sure we will see flat colors sets and then symbol style sets by the time the game ships from modders. My concern is having the unit sils and info show clearly and that each side is visually distinct since we will be working on having more than one force on a side in 2.1.

I'll buy it whatever it is called. This project deserves support.

As long as user-created TOE's, maps, scenarios, etc., can be imported into the new engine I'll keep plugging away on my projects when I have the time.

Count me in. I'll buy what this team is producing. I'm interested in and excited about another Cold War era entry. I have a lot of WWII games already. If anything, I'd like to see games that are set in today's timeline.

Well . . . for the current things I am working on I really like the idea of small forces operating in large areas. Gives side 1 more to think about and side 2 more options. And after this I want to start on 80's Norway. So . . .

Just looking at my first map I only had to cheat a little to make nine levels work with 50 meter elevation changes. But the trade off is that everything east of the Streu and south of the Thuringer Wald is mostly on one level. But ideally a location like OP Echo is 25 meters above the surrounding terrain.

A whole lot of military history involves people fighting over a few extra meters of altitude. I'll never forget seeing Cemetery Ridge after so many hours playing the old AH game. I was expecting more of an actual ridge such as can be seen around Fort Davidson in SE Missouri.

I want the extra levels bad enough that I would be willing to enter the hex values by hand and come up with my own colors.

How about including the original old game thats discontinued with the purchase of the new game. After playing campaigns i check on the status of the old game and found it was discontinued and not for sale. I wanted to check out the evolution and see what features were in that game and how they worked, particularly the stand off range. If priced right i would of bought it.

MikeAP, we don't know yet. It depends on some testing we will be doing after we get back from Origins this week and get 2.04 out the door.

Thank you sir, just thought it would be a nice PR selling point for the new game. Command ops did this with the old HTTR.
