Boy I remember all these shows with fondness. I also remember playing with the G.I. Joe dolls errr I mean action figures with the kid across the street. His parents had set him up a sand box just for playing with the figures.
Yep, I had one of these babies.....

I had a Matchbox version of one of these....
McHale's Navy is still available on Hulu.
As for science fiction, does anyone remember "Quark?" Awful, but it had the Doublemint Twins!

My parents got me this Remco Johnny Reb Cannon when I was in second grade. You could not imagine a happier kid.
Well, at least you were cute once. [:'(]

Regrettably, that is not me in the photo. My parents were so unhappy with my looks that they made me the National Poster Child for Planned Parenthood...[;)]

"Sky King" was well into syndication by the time I was old enough to watch it. But I never missed an episode. Every Saturday morning. I am pretty sure the Gloria Winters (Penny) caused me to have my first "chubby."

Came to America when I was 5. Lived in DC and went to a preschool run by a Belgian, Ms Vera (ok, that’s all I remember). One day, I was playing in the yard and fell and fractured my wrist on the edge of the concrete slab.
I remember going to Ms Vera, holding my wrist, and saying “Ms Vera, I sprained my ankle”. I said that because I watched TV and all the heros didn’t get shot or anything bad; they just sprained their ankle. So that was my first English Language vector: when one is hurt, one “sprain’s ones ankle”.
The old cowboy films are righteous. The old cowboy films remind us of who we really are. The old cowboy films recall our roots.

Favorite character-without a doubt: Ziegfried. Schmart!!! [:D] Gets me every time.
Favorite character who, as a pre-teen that I was, evoked certain "stirrings": Barbara Feldman as Agent 99. Wow! [X(]
Ok...so some of the attire was ridiculous, but she was a sultry bombshell...

I know that I am taking this to a whole other level, but what the heck? I still get a little warm when I see an old photo of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman. I preferred to watch this show alone, without my parents around...
