Steam currently has the community choice vote up for 80% off Panzer Corps. No way it's going to win because it's up against a FPS game.

That is a great deal on some of my favorite games. You can't go wrong with the Cossacks series... I've had so much fun with them.

Hey Rhonda, I'd be careful about those paradox prices on their website! I saw Way of Life for Crusader Kings II on Steam for 7.99, $2 less. I think!!

That was sitting up at the top of their product list without any discount when I viewed the page. I guess since it's a new release. The other titles seemed to be comparable to Steam deals that have popped up during the past month. Note that buying through Paradox just gets you a Steam code anyway.

One must always cross check prices, you are quite right.

Still, it's the biggest fun of the season for me... who needs Christmas trees and all the traditional holiday trappings? Bah... humbug! My family can enjoy that back in Indiana and Guam [:D]

Goat News:

Winter Kidding Report: Born 5 kids, One baby killed by the horse stepping on it and breaking her back before I could grab her and put her into the kid pen for safety :( One of those things... I woke up, looked out the window to see Aurora with two babies, ran to get my muck boots on over my PJ's, and by the time I got outside one of the kids was screaming with the horse standing on it while licking the salt block... never even noticed what he was doing :( And just that fast, my day went from joy to sorrow. I take comfort that Aurora still has one beautiful baby left though... named her Snow White.

**************

The same day I discovered my well head piping had frozen and burst when I went to fill the cistern. Didn't notice till I had a thousand gallons or so of water all over the ranch yard (which is now a frozen lake). Kinda funny watching the stallion slip on the ice.

Winter on the ranch... you take the good and the bad and just try to keep warm and alive.

Happy New Year friends!

Last chance sales at Gamer's Gate

I've had my eye on Shogun 2 for awhile and this is about as good as it gets (75% off). Sadly, my funds for games are depleted so this may have to wait another year.

People here might me interested in World War One Centennial edition in the latest Indie Royale bundle (it's in the Plug-In Bundle if the link doesn't direct to it automatically):

http://www.indieroyale.com/

$2.78 for it plus a bunch of other games I haven't tried yet for the next day or so, but seems like a very solid game from messing around with it so far.

There's no 2k baseball in their list on Steam?? why not? I'm dying for a modern day PC animated baseball game like The Show. Last great animated PC baseball game I played was Front Page Sports Baseball 98. I can't get it to work on XP or Vista though. [8|]
